I can relate to Naruto *a bit* in this scene. As I grew up I made a friend who was a sniper in the Vietnam war. He was over there for years. He came home, grew older, and in 2005 I met him as a 14 year old. He took a liking to me, he was odd but super nice. I eventually asked if he'd take me hunting with him one day and he said that would be fine. After that him and I were almost inseparable. Like an adopted grandkid I was. He learned that I wanted to be a sniper in the Army like he was and taught me how to shoot long range for years. 4 years later I was 18 and sent off to basic training. I passed, came home, and we went shooting at his private range. About 4 months pass after I get to my duty station and I go through Sniper School. I pass with flying colors. A couple years ago he wrote a book, gave me a free copy and to my surprise I was part of it. Not just a single page, but a whole damn chapter. I cry whenever I read it. I miss him dearly.
I hate how people try to downplay Naruto's hard work I mean look at the guy he had to not only train on how to enter sage mode he also had to learn how to fight in sage mode and on top of that he secretly trained on how to use his rasenshuriken that's dedication if I've ever saw it
Hopefully one day they bring back Naruto and show more of his life after the last to becoming Hokage. Boruto did not do Naruto justice. Also create Minato the series.

Also it was stated during the war that sage mode works on otsutski, hell even hinata went toe to toe with toneri for a bit till Naruto stepped in. Sage mode should have been his final form and the other forms are just multipliers, sure it's not as good kurama, but if only he trained more and given time😞

He didn't have the creator giving him bs passes and power up quickly with things always working out. Jiraiya is one of the legendary Sannin and the most likable character in the series. Can't believe they disrespected him with having his clone in Boruto. My favorite character deserved to stay dead and not have to witness Boruto. Jiraiya earned his death.
