This is an incredible insight into the thought process behind the viewpoint of how a story is told through the camera's perspective. It describes how the audience is treated, i.e. as a participant or as an outside observer, the only two real choices a filmmaker has when telling a story through film. Thank you ICA.

For those complaining about the absence of clips: Some of these same clips can be seen on the several other Walter Murch interviews posted on UA-cam, which evidently did not have copyright issues.
