The Geonosian bugs used to make Battle Droids before the Empire's time.
Those bugs helped the Empire make one last weapon: Project Stardust better known as the Death Star. The Sith betrayed the Geonosians after Dooku died.
Rogue One had one scene that turned out when the Empire put the final piece of the Death Star.

It's seems that the clip from star tours show the construction of the second death star, not the first.
Why ?
@@gonk0000because It looks exactly like the second Death Star, and the superlaser was attached in Star Tours but it was only attached in canon during Rogue One.
The setting is supposedly before ANH. It's why they used Vader's TIE (he technically could have used it later, but it is generally used as a visual indicator of ANH or earlier for general audiences).
@@sodaman8888 The 2nd Death Star was built (or mostly built) over Endor, not Geonosis. It's just the same construction process was used on both.
I mean, it's technically not canon anyways, but we know that the main reason that the 1st Death Star took so long to build was because of delays with the main weapon.
So you could always assume that what we're seeing in Star Tours is either a temporary cover, or a previously failed installation that was then taken apart like we see in Andor, to be reinstalled in Rogue One.
@@The2ndQuest problem with that theory is that when you look at rots, you see that the structure is complete but in that sequence it's not the case

Can bet when folks were watching the Attack of the Clones, some must have nerdy gasped to see that Geonosian bugs were the ones that designed Death Star.
Pity that Separatist never get to see the day when they planned had begun reality.
