I seem to remember that that the reason they had Thanksgiving and we're all peaceful for 50 years, was because the pilgrims and one tribe teamed up, and they ambushed and wiped out another RIVAL tribe, and then the Native Americans helped them out in exchange for the use of their help and weapons(muskets,) killing their rivals? I mean no one's a good person in the story
Addison Rae did a much better job here. I think she seemed a lot more comfortable, and I thought she had really good chemistry with the guy playing her boyfriend.
Wow Idk anything about Addison Rae but she wasn't any worse than any of the other kids, and hearing that she was stunt double for the trampoline scene is cool.
I really liked this movie because it was so self aware.🤣 The comedy was subtle but gave the slasher film a Scream type of edge to it. It understood that the whole premise in itself was wild and ran with it all the way with the kills. Couldn't believe what I was watching sometimes. This isn't one of those killer stabs victim off screen, they show EVERYTHING. 😮
SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING. There are a few clever hints in the film that give the killer's reveal away (I guessed it after 30 minutes and paid more attention from that point onward) 1. Officer Newton's breathing in the opening POV shot of the movie matches the breathing of the killer everytime he's on screen. 2. Officer Newton didn't initially target Kathleen until he knew that she was responsible for deleting the camera footage in the store. The kids (and leslie) were the only targets prior to that. 3. Yulia makes a comment about how nice guys with no flaws are ALWAYS the ones you need to look out for. This comment was initially targeted at Ryan, but the only person in the film who matches that description is Officer Newton. 4. Officer Newton and the John Carver Killer are never on screen at the exact same time. In the same PLACE sure, but not in the same scene. 5. The Killer is proficient with firearms(particularly handguns). 6. His hideout has police radio setups along with what looks like tech to mask his signal. 7. The hideout is revealed to be the john carver house which was then made a crime scene by Officer Newton and therefore the general public is not allowed access, a perfect place for a killer to hide. These are all the hints I can remember off the top of my head, if anyone else has anymore, please feel free to share.
Once he so proficiently beheaded the security guard with a garotte, I figured it was someone with a military or police background. Sheriff Newlon was so useless in the opening scene, I didn't think it could be him. Not a layman but not him. Guess his incompetence at the store was a misdirect?
@@jeeitherIt's possible, but before Amanda died in the store, he had no motive. So maybe he just appears like a more mild mannered cop. That was also an insane situation though lol.
@@IccyTheOne I was thinking, if he had just shot his gun off outside when people started to get riled up, like he did after several people died already, maybe they could have avoided the whole thing all together. Like he literally did nothing outside, he didn't yell at anybody, he didn't even speak to the crowd in a calm voice
I still think the sherif had a partner. Therre were certain moments were he was in one place while the killer was at another. My money is on Ryan. He was too hostile & overly nice in front of specific people throughout the movie
my friend and I saw this movie and liked It so much we saw it in theaters again. Idk why we liked It so much but the kills were great and the plot was good and the entire movie was just entertaining as a whole.
Reason it worked is cause they didn’t force her on us in the movie, she’s very much a side character here. When she gets the spotlight (so far) her acting comes off too inexperienced and just feels like a high end UA-cam video
this movie was actually really good! really good jump scares and it gave me a lot a laughs! “there will be no leftovers” is such a funny villian tagline😂
I want to point something out so... SPOILERS, even though this video is filled with them xD I watched the film twice and I was trying to look for clues about the Sheriff being the murder. I did find those but I caught something even better: There were always 2 killers. The scene that gives it away is right before Yulia gets killed. When Scuba and Jessica get to Yulia's House, John Carver hodls her by the throat and shows them a cellphone with a live stream of the thanksgiving dinner. That particualr footage is not steady, you can see that whoever is streaming the dinner wants to make sure to show every person at the table, so they move the cellphone, they basically do a pan movement. There are probably other hints, but that is the most obvious one. If we get a sequel it'll be fun to try and find out who the second killer is.
I saw this in cinema and this movie got some good jumps on me, i audibly said "oh my god" a good couple of times. I found this movie to be a really fun watch! (also would like to touch on the fact Addison Rae did a great job, side characters are usually forgettable and annoying even but i was really rootin for her)
I knew really fast that it was going to be a traditional who's the killer with the big reveal at the end. Some of the foreshadowing was a bit on the nose like Jess talking about having to learn to load a musket. They might as well have had a big neon sign saying 'this is how she takes out the killer'
This movie definitely had some creative practical kills. I saw this on a first date (at like 8:30pm, the last showing of the night) & we liked it! I’m a scaredy cat but was curious about the movie bc I looked campy. We also got to whisper through it a bit since there was literally only 1 other couple there which was fun 😂
This movie was fucking fantastic. It hit all the right beats (beets? lol). And as a Masshole, it had special appeal for me. TBH this really was a vibe.
I personally enjoyed it. It felt very nostalgic, like watching Scream for the first time, or IKWYDLS. Also got a poster with it that made me laugh, so that was cool! 😂
Okay. The only reason I clicked on this video was because the thumbnail has a creepy illusion when you scroll past it, it looks like the guy in the background blinks😅
I kind of liked how they departed from the normal formula and left both Ryan and Bobby alive at the end, just didn't break up with the new douche boyfriend, and two of the final girl's friends actually survived.
I knew Bobby was a red Herring, the ex who mysteriously appears on the anniversary of the tragedy who has motive due to what happened to him. I was less sure about Ryan but was still fairly confident he was also a red herring. I suspected the sheriff pretty quick but right up until the final act I was still not sure, so I think it was done pretty well considering that even though I was right in the end I was doubting my suspicions for a while. I was about 45% sure it was the sheriff, 30% sure it was Bobby, and 25% sure it was Ryan
I loved it. Love Halloween, hate Thanksgiving, consumerism, corporate America, entitlement, influencers. Turkeys belong on a sanctuary, not on the table.
Nahhh there are plot holes with how the sheriff and killer are in the same place. I guess there are two killers, the other one is ryan. Like his character was really suspicious and when they were all kidnapped, he was nowhere to be seen until the end (like isn't he one of the major characters?) like huh? His character became underwhelming at the end like it's almost impossible. If there will be a thanksgiving 2, I bet my money ryan is connected to the sheriff. Maybe he even help the sheriff at the end (when the balloon exploded because no body was seen) hmmm
I liked it except for the part where the main character/s survived. I was kinda rooting for the killer in this too much hahaha (until the part it was revealed he was a cheating bastard. But the Black Friday scene was really intense). But at least the ones who really deserved it got axed (pun intended)
"It's the people at the top making them fight these gladiator matches" ooooor it's just a bunch of stupid people fighting over a 5% sale they could get year round
I get so excited to watch one of your videos and then I remember that annoying weird dinging music that you play really low in the background. I’m not sure why you use that, but it’s awful ): the repetitive noise starts to feel awful after awhile. I’m sure I’m the only one it bothers though.
Tbh I'm super sensitive to low sounds especially buzzing from electronics. This background effect did not bother me. Actually a lot of you tubers use some sort of looping sound effect and I prefer it

The scene where she gets cut by the table saw is unrealistic because table saws have a emergency stop, so when you touch it while it's spinning once you touch it, it instantly stops.

Also the mask being burned by the furnace and the sherrifs road marked face, was the part it clicked for me
The deputy also makes a reference to the tear gas and weapons used he could be military or atleast able to use a gun
I liked this a lot. Also if you’re looking for another thanksgiving horror movie, The Pilgrim was honestly pretty solid
I thought Black Friday wasn't bad, if you like more comedy with your horror.
I wanted to see that but then they used a real Gospel song during a mass blood vomit scene.. i felt so icky after seeing that on YT
I still think the sherif had a partner. Therre were certain moments were he was in one place while the killer was at another. My money is on Ryan. He was too hostile & overly nice in front of specific people throughout the movie
I think so too as at the parade scene he was walking around in his sheriff outfit then like 2 mins later he decapitates the turkey 😯

I think that you just fund a bit of a mistake, that's it. I don't think there are 2 killers, there is nothing other to hint at that.
I also think there are two killers. How could the sheriff be living streamer and talking at the dinner table while also at the station/ tunnels???
the parade scene, there’s the killer disguised as a clown who then tranquillizes the sheriff and the kids? Did I miss something
Yeah i also think there are two, i think ryan should be the other one because he didnt really contribute to anything else.

That Travis reference was wild💀
honestly, him knocking up a 61-year-old woman just might be the most unrealistic part of the entire film
Lol I just realized the killer loses the accent when the voice mod comes on 😂

Some of the foreshadowing was a bit on the nose like Jess talking about having to learn to load a musket. They might as well have had a big neon sign saying 'this is how she takes out the killer'
Wasn't expecting the cartooney deaths but it was decent for a shut your brain off slasher.

I didn’t pay attention to the first half of the movie but once they had that scene in the school I said it was Derek 😂

Dempsey being the killer really screwed up the internal logic of the film. How could he be in two places at the same time?
I guess Mitch was the killer wearing the clown mask
