have you heard of Converge? theyre not old but theyre probably in there mid 40's been going at it since the early 90's and their stage presence is as if they were still teenagers. the flame is still very much alive with Converge
Alex, if she started out with their early stuff, ya i think she would be a little put off lol idk. but their later stuff like the song, and album title, All we love we leave behind, is what i would like to call, chaotic beauty. and their new album the Dusk in Us has some songs that an average listener would be bobbing their head to.
Red King fair enough, i have to check out their later stuff. Saw them at cbgb around 2003? Or 02? Great live band but their albums wasn't something I could listen to. But i will check out their progression and see what they are like now.
Alex, ya man have a go at the new one, it was my top 5's for 2017. i wish i would have seen them in their younger years, all i have is their dvds and their shows looked fun as hell! cheers man!
Have seen motorhead 27 times, still have my unused ticket for a gig scheduled for 2 months after lemmy died.the word Legend will never cover his legacy. Rest in noise my man, this Jack's on me.
My old lady died. She had a Motorhead full back piece back tat. When I get down I listen to Cradle to the Grave or Rock n Roll. I had to break Lemmy dying to her. My grandma died the day before she did. Motorhead hits me in the feels. I'm completely changed and probably damaged goods but love introducing folks to music and finding new music so you're basically my friend at this point.
IMO. Lemmy was "The Rockstar"! He had his own sound on bass and in singing. He drank all the booze and used plenty of drugs. And he had all the ladies, while being ugly as sin. BUT most importantly he was kind and intelligent guy who treated people with respect.
If there was no Motorhead, there would be no bands like Metallica, Megadeth or bands similar to that. Possibly the only band that I can think of who both metal fans and punk rock fans love and respect. Speaking of punk, try some Ramones. Their songs are so short, you can live stream a whole album in about a half hour easy. Take care and love your reactions.
...and THAT'S why the song is called Overkill. There's a song that Lemmy & Dave Grohl did when Dave did the Probot album, it's called Shake Your Blood; basically Lemmy tells you how to be a rock star.
Motörhead is the epitome of the classic rock n roll lifestyle and bombastic balls to the wall style. And Lemmy was awesome, bless his soul. Classic song from a legendary band.
I've never heard this song so the first "ending" fooled me. I don't always understand what Lemmy says, but I agree with you. I have always really liked their sound. I really have to listen to more Motorhead.
Tommie Boler when I listened to Overkill for the first time... I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t know what was going on. It repeated and the studio version jus was weird to me. When I eventually listened to the live version, it became my favorite. Overkill was just this fast and fucking awesome, I couldn’t do anything but headbang and enjoy.
Now that was just a video. Now imagine that at jet engine volume. Lemmy’s bass pushing your chest in. That is the essence of Motörhead. On record they were monstrous, live they were gods!
Great video. Motorhead is without a doubt one of the greatest rock bands. One of the first concerts I took my wife to included Motorhead, Heaven and Hell and Judas Priest on the bill. My wife knew Motorhead only by name and raves about the concert till this day. She still mentions how Motorhead was so loud her clothes seem to shake. Even though it was an outdoor venue we could not hear for at least two days. Great concert!!! BTW she mentions if you wore spandex in the eighties you probably should not be wearing it 25 years later. LOL.
Bangs head stops oh it's not over, bangs head again smiles laughs it's still going, bangs head again shakes head in disbelief this is amazing #PinkNation #YoureWelcomeNation
Ok, I've watched 5 or 6 of your vids now and I think you are one cool cookie. This is coming from a 55-year-old 70's rocker (from the UK), and seeing a young black American lady reacting in such a way is fantastic. It is heartwarming to know that someone from a very different background to mine can have such a powerful reaction to the music I grew up with. Looking at you I would say Hip hop or maybe Reggie ( or something of that ilk - don't forget I'm 55 and British so not up with the modern sounds :) ) would be your thing, but no, you are open-minded and soulful, your reaction has moved me - keep going
God pink thank you such a beautiful thing to see friday morning you reacting to lemmy my greatest idol of all time and in HD I so love you and your channel more than ever thanks for the SHOUT OUT as well also try (motorhead's love me forever a slow one) and did you know he was a roadie for Hendrix? you will always be the queen shine on girl
Your face at 5:40... There's a bloody good reason why the song is called Overkill........... "just when I thought I was out, they pulled me back in..." to quote Al Pacino in the Godfather 3
Lemmy 🤘🏼❤️ he was the inspiration for so many musicians who didn’t give a F about what people say but at the same token he poured out his soul and be the best at what he did with his music, to his fans and stayed true to his way of life.
I seen Motörhead, God, must be 25+ times all in the late 70s-early 80's, no other band could touch them live. At one gig, at the Lyceum in London (where I'm from before moving to Brisbane Australia), probably 1979, the Overkill re-start happened 5 times instead of the normal 3, with each one getting longer. We thought it'd never end. Everyone was on Speed when we walked into the show, by the time we came out we were going so fast that the nuclei of our brain atoms had vibrated so much we all had contracted nuclear fusion in our skulls. You did a nice job here Pinky! I just watched another react video and all the girl said was "They play with energy, the singer has a good voice, and the guitar player played some riffs". Serious, that was all she said, keep up the fine work Pinky, can I recommend Silver Machine by a band Lemmy used to be in called Hawkwind, Lemmy does the singing. Cya soon Pinky!
I discovered Motorhead at a much older age after listening to Axl Rose request to hear Ace of Spades in an interview with Eddie Trunk. I soon found so many other diamonds in their discography. In the Name of Tragedy is one of my favorites. One of the few bands that aged like wine, and got better with each passing year. I was so lucky to see Motorhead three times in concert before Lemmy passed away. Good memories, and so much inspiration. I watched Lemmy's funeral live on television. The world lost a hero that day.
You are ridiculously adorable. Just your sweet, kind, gentle voice juxtaposed with Motorhead's blistering classic live version of "Overkill" makes a great video clip. Keep up the great work.
Germany Düsseldorf Phillipshalle 2004...i was there. This concert was fucking brilliant...the best head show i ever see....and i ve seen many ! This Video can not reproduce how Motörhead live was.Lemmy s Bass blew you away and push you against the wall !! My ears still rang 3 days after the show. Lemmy forever...forever Lemmy. Rock n Roll never dies !
Lemmy was the ultimate rock star, lived the dream, sex drugs and rock and roll. The man was an absolute LEGEND!!!!!! R.I.P. Mr Kilmister sadly sadly missed.
Lemmy was Total anti cocaine he was anti heroine but like my self he would have a s### load of speed Motörhead meaning speed freak and my self with the same problem the song overkill no one can beat them the were f##### awesome I don’t even drink to wash the stuff down. But you are so right sadly missed Motörhead was a band in their own world 😔🥺🥶😶😐🏴😉😊🙂.
Thank you soo much beautiful ❤👍 I discovered your channel a few month's ago and have enjoyed it immensely.I had to comment because I LOVE MOTORHEAD! The greatest metal band ever.
Best Motörhead gig I want to was in 2007 first o2 leeds, uk. Really small venue for what you see here. Many 2/3 on the front section would have been capacity, bill was girls school, Airbourne, Motörhead. And they didn’t turn it down any - probably the same levels as this gig lol
He lived Rock n Roll. Rip I loved how he always had the mic above him. He did that so he could use his voice the way it should be used. Thnkx 4 sharing. Keep Rocking
You are correct Pink, Lemmy was a true archtype. There will never be another. Even Ozzy agreed he was the real rocker. He was the one artist all punk rockers could get behind as well as the hard rockers. His influence is felt all over. His voice was 2/3 unfiltered cigarette and 1/3 jack daniels. He bedded over 1000 women and he lived his life exactly as he wanted without a regret. A truly interesting character. Please look further into Motorhead! Songs like Love me like a reptile, tear ya down, over the top, shine, damage case, whorehouse blues, built for speed, shoot you in the back, bomber, killed by death, dead men tell no tales, just cos you got the power, metropolis, marching off to war. So many good songs to plug alone.
You have no idea how loud they are, especially the reverb from Lemmy's bass at the end. I couldn't hear for almost a week after seeing them at Hammersmith, and immediately after the gig, life seemed to occur in slow motion, I was almost numb. Travelling home on the 'tube' after, was almost surreal, as I could hear nothing, so had to be extra careful not to miss my stops. Also, the gents toilets had a blockage, so we were literally almost knee deep in urine. Rock and roll indeed.
Lemmy lives forever. Motorhead forever. So freakin loud at their shows (even outside!). No matter how bad of a day you're having, listen to Motorhead. Lemmy will put a smile on your face
My wife likes Country music and I took her to see Motorhead and the look on her face when they came out and played at 110 decibels was priceless! I just looked at her and said this is real music...
"who'd win in a fight, Lemmie or God? Trick question, Lemmie is God." (Airheads Movie). Great video PinkMetalHead, I love in the drum intro how your eyes light up!
Nov. 18th, 2015 - Saarbrücken, GERMANY: Me and my best friend Sebastian saw a Motörhead concert. Kicked ass. December 28, 2015: Lemmy Kilmeister frontman of Motörhead dies of cancer. So I was fortunate to be one the last people to see them play. I just love Motörhead, because they put on great shows.. I should know
Saw all three lineups over the decades. They’re all brilliant. RIP Lemmy, Wurzel, Fast Eddie, and Philthy. The heavens have their band. Miss you chaps.
We are Motorhead, we play Rock n Roll< dont forget us, (at the start of every gig ,i missed out) he passed before my ticket was valid feb 2017,R.I.P. Lemmy,Phil,Eddy, EOCK ON FOREVER GUYS
" They Were Motorhead, And They Played " Rock n Roll"!!! Rest In Peace " Lemmy, Fast Eddie, Phil Taylor !!!! Stone Dead Forever! I got too see " Motorhead about 5 times! I have been a diehard fan since I was 12 years old! Iam 50yrs now! Still my favorite band!
My first concert was a Motorhead concert , age 11. First I begged for more , later I begged them to stop. My ears were ringing for a week. To this day the loudest concert I can remember.
Metal music, without race and ethnicity! we are all children of these noises .... a big hug for you, from the "guarani" people native to Brazil / Paraguay! ImI
Great vid, Pink! RIP Lemmy! Check out "Burner", "I Am the Sword", "Death or Glory", and the (GASP!) ballad "1916". Motorhead has many, many surprises in store. hope you find them all. Cheers! ^_^
Lemmy was so much to so many. At his heart, he was a true British Gentleman. Watch that video of him getting tatted up by Kat Von D, and at the end, he reaches out and gently kisses her hand. I drove 550 miles to see him in 2009, and it was stunning. God, I miss Lemmy. RIP, old boy.
2004 Lemmy was 59 , way past middle aged. Their sound ... it's too unique for words, i'ts something you hear, even without even hearing Lemmy sing, you know : "yep, that's Motörhead" Loved by many, both fans and fellow musicians, even non metal-bands, wich says allot. Motörhead is what got me into metal. I remember correctly that ducomentary/soap of classic albums, episode : Ace of Spades. Immediatly when i heard them going i stopped zapping and watched the entire episode, thinking by myself, why haven't i heard of them before and how unique and kickass do they sound ! It was only later that i started listening to other Metal bands like Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Slayer, etc etc ... Only because of Motörhead and especially Lemmy. He was special, he was different, but also very humble and kind, he know he had everything he wanted thanks to his fans, and that's what he gave back to us. His music, his 50 year career span, and 40 year Motörhead lifespan, touring almost every day of the year, releasing 22 studio albums and always staying true to his sound. He gave us 100% of himself, because that's what he thought he owed us. He once said in an interview, my fans are my life, i owe them everything, cause if it wasn't for them, you wouldn't be sitting here interviewing me. And that's why i loved him, even though he knew his life would end soon, he still went on stage, playing as hard and fast as he possibly could. Some people disliked that and said he better quited earlier ,instead of keeping touring and not being what it was like in 1975. But i love him for that. No remorse, no regret, just loyalty and love for his music. I can keep going on and on. he means so much for me. I thought i could never cry over a star i adorred or someone who i didn't know personally, and guess what ... yep i cried ... badly .. when he died .... Everyone i know, knows i love Lemmy and i love Motörhead, it's in my blood and in my skin ( tattoos ). Lemmy/Motörhead, love you forever , forever in my heart untill the day i die.
Yeah! Great reaction! You can feel the energy! \m/ This is one of my favourite songs by Motörhead. I love it, because of its speed, rawness and, most of all, the three insane guitar solos at the end. It gives me a boost of energy everytime I listen to it. :D I'm so sad that I never had the chance to actually see them live. I was at Wacken Open Air 2013, but came too late to their gig and could only watch it through one of the big screens outside the main stages. And they had to stop their gig 30 minutes after the beginning because Lemmy was feeling sick at that time (he had got a pacemaker not long before). I would have loved to see them at Wacken 2016, where I was, too, but Lemmy died earlier. :( And sadly now all members of the classic line-up consisting of Lemmy, Phil Taylor and Eddie Clarke (from 1975-81) are dead. But I think they are united in heaven... rock heaven. :) My other favourite songs by this band are "Stone Dead Forever", "Killed By Death" and "Dancing On Your Grave". Would love to see your reaction to these! Rock on!
Home sweet Home!.....damn,what a Concert in my Hometown DÜSSELDORF/GERMANY in 2004....i am right in the middle of the Moshpit!.....unforgettable!.......that night,my town turned into DüssHELLdorf for sure!....young?....Lemmy was 59 (!) in that Year!......LEMMY 4ever
I saw these guys in San Diego something like 15 years ago - a lot of bikers, a lot of tattoos and a few guys with Hawkwind shirts (Lemmy did vocals for Hawkwind, a UK psychedelic progressive rock band, before doing lead vocals for Motörhead.
Great reaction to Motorhead Rest In Peace Lemmy Eternal 🤘🤘Next Motorhead Song Back At The Funny Farm from the album Another Perfect Day, awesome song imo
Great reaction to an unbelievable performance. I regret never seeing them live...total legend! In a different vein, I think you'd love Monster Magnet. The title track to their classic Dopes To Infinity album is simply incredible...
Only way to feel the noise Is when it's good and loud! So good - I can't believe it! Screaming with the crowd ! On your feet; you feel the beat! It goes straight to your spine! Shake your head; you must be dead if it don't make you fly ! Don't sweat it, we'll get it back to you Know your body's made to move; You feel it in your guts! Rock 'n' roll ain't worth the name if it don't make ya strut! Don't sweat it, we'll get it back to you ! Don't sweat it, we'll get it back to you! OVERKILL OVERKILL OVERKILL!
3 old guys making more noise and more energy than a lot of young bands. Not many bands are liked by punk, rock, metal and other fans at the same time.
have you heard of Converge? theyre not old but theyre probably in there mid 40's been going at it since the early 90's and their stage presence is as if they were still teenagers. the flame is still very much alive with Converge
Red King Converge is very technical but they may sound a bit too noisy for her.
Alex, ya man have a go at the new one, it was my top 5's for 2017. i wish i would have seen them in their younger years, all i have is their dvds and their shows looked fun as hell! cheers man!
His name was Lemmy and he played Rock "n" Roll R.I.P, Ian Frazer "Lemmy" Kilmister.
Gota be some Scottish (or scotch) in his Jean's

Have seen motorhead 27 times, still have my unused ticket for a gig scheduled for 2 months after lemmy died.the word Legend will never cover his legacy. Rest in noise my man, this Jack's on me.
lemmy was kicking ass at 70 .........im very impressed you can feel the country in there
frogcrambo68 well he did pass away 2-3 days after he turned 70. But yeah he kicked ass until he finally went to the doctor.
All the original members, Phil Taylor, Fast Eddie, & Lemmy are gone now. So passes Motorhead into legend.
frogcrambo68 Lem was touring with full blown cancer.... 💪😢
frogcrambo68 only one Tour. 45 years :D
My old lady died. She had a Motorhead full back piece back tat. When I get down I listen to Cradle to the Grave or Rock n Roll. I had to break Lemmy dying to her. Cradle To The Grave was my very first introduction to Motorhead, and still one of my favorites. RIP to your woman and your grandma, brother.
My Condolences David
Explosive great rock..never got the recognition they deserved
The perfect balance of punk and metal.
and blues and country
Its Rock and Roll
IMO. Lemmy was "The Rockstar"! He had his own sound on bass and in singing. He drank all the booze and used plenty of drugs. And he had all the ladies, while being ugly as sin. BUT most importantly he was kind and intelligent guy who treated people with respect.
I disagree, "Lemmy was God"

So the last ending... what a fuck...Lemmy was the real deal of rock and roll.
they were the loudest band on the planet, that video proved it!. Seen them live twice, I confirm also! Lemmy is our father
I was there....and saw him 15 Times Live!
wow love the new camera setup. very professional! great to see your channel evolve. keep going!
Thanks man! :)
I agree! What camera are you using!?
Great reaction. Your smile showed how much you enjoyed and felt the music.
Motörhead, the grandfather of all heavy metal/trash metal.
Makes Hawkwind the great-grandfather ;)
@@hopefuldave Yes ;)
Now that was just a video. Now imagine that at jet engine volume. Lemmy’s bass pushing your chest in. That is the essence of Motörhead. On record they were monstrous, live they were gods!
Fantastic!!!! This is what Motörhead is all about.... Epic reaction, spot on!
what made Motörhead so special is that Lemmy played his bass guitar like a rythm guitar.. very special sound
When the third ending began, you had a smile that was wonderful! You looked SO HAPPY! Lemmy is smiling on you now, I'm sure. Peace.
Great video. Motorhead is without a doubt one of the greatest rock bands. One of the first concerts I took my wife to included Motorhead, Heaven and Hell and Judas Priest on the bill. woaw you're voice is so sweet..so cute..from France
motörhead for life !
The outro to this song basically sums up the entire spirit of rock and roll/metal. You feel it in your bones.
Bangs head stops oh it's not over, bangs head again smiles laughs it's still going, bangs head again shakes head in disbelief this is amazing #PinkNation #YoureWelcomeNation

Thank you soo much beautiful ❤👍 I discovered your channel a few month's ago and have enjoyed it immensely.I had to comment because I LOVE MOTORHEAD!
The greatest metal band ever.
I saw Motörhead twice. Once in 98 and again in 2009. The realest of the real. I suggest the song Metropolis.
through you ( love a few of your other reaction videos ) i learned how much more i loved motorhead
So happy you reacted to motorhead. Thanks girl! Rip lemmy

I was able to see Motorhead play only once. In 2012. The greatest hour of my life.
this song could go on forever and id keep listeing
Watching a master artist perform his craft it is an honor to even watch it online let alone be there live rip Lemmy you'll never be forgotten
He lived Rock n Roll. Rip
I loved how he always had the mic above him.
He did that so he could use his voice the way it should be used.
Thnkx 4 sharing. Keep Rocking
4:14 That look. That's why it's Overkill. Watching this performance by the band and knowing Lemmy's gone brought a tear to my eye.
So cool. That was so rock and roll. The guitarist just passed as well. Very sad.
Thank you yet again...💝💝💝

You're right, I never really thought about it, but they do have a rockabilly feel to their rhythms.
That 3rd part in that live performance is a tear jerker for me
The best feeling when the song just doesn't end
Love Motorhead! They were really fun to watch. There will never be another Lemmy.
I remember seeing them live about 7-8 years ago in my hometown. When this came on..I have never air drummed so much in my life.
Saw all three lineups over the decades. They’re all brilliant. RIP Lemmy, Wurzel, Fast Eddie, and Philthy. The heavens have their band. Miss you chaps.
Pinkmetalhead? What kind of channel did I just find?? You and lost in Vegas always surprise
I am glad you got to hear some pounding rock and roll before you get to old to enjoy it.
as a curly guy myself, your hair makes me proud!
We are Motorhead, we play Rock n Roll< dont forget us, (at the start of every gig ,i missed out) he passed before my ticket was valid feb 2017,R.I.P. Lemmy,Phil,Eddy, EOCK ON FOREVER GUYS
The feedback at the end of the gig is the sound coming out my ears still after 40 years of yearly magnificence
Awesome live song. Great jam. Nice pick
Horns up 🤘🤘🤘. Pinkmetalnation.
R I P LEMME. 🤘
Who'd win in a wrestling match, Lemmy or God?
Trick question. Lemmy IS God.
PanzerblitzRnR Yeah yeah Steve Buchemi has jokes.
Lemmy would win. If he wanted he could beat the Godness out of him because he's a God.
Lemmy has replaced god
God wouldn't turn up
Lemmy came to a party at my mates place, he stayed 3 weeks!!
The Mosh pit would always kill me off during this song!!! ♠️
My EARS are BLEEDING, What a Band and What a Song. R.I.P Lemmy.
Don't forget us, we are Motörhead and we play Rock and Roll.
the best by far reaction video hostess \m/ keep on doing what you do awesome !
Thanks my love!
R.i.p lemmy,keep rocking pink !!
Their sound ... it's too unique for words, i'ts something you hear, even without even hearing Lemmy sing, you know : "yep, that's Motörhead"
Loved by many, both fans and fellow musicians, even non metal-bands, wich says allot.
This is one of my favourite songs by Motörhead. I love it, because of its speed, rawness and, most of all, the three insane guitar solos at the end. It gives me a boost of energy everytime I listen to it. :D
I'm so sad that I never had the chance to actually see them live. :(
And sadly now all members of the classic line-up consisting of Lemmy, Phil Taylor and Eddie Clarke (from 1975-81) are dead. But I think they are united in heaven... rock heaven. :)
My other favourite songs by this band are "Stone Dead Forever", "Killed By Death" and "Dancing On Your Grave".
Great video! Motörhead is truly on of a kind, no one's like them.
You should do Bomber, Metropolis, Iron fist and Killed by death.
I saw these guys in San Diego something like 15 years ago - a lot of bikers, a lot of tattoos and a few guys with Hawkwind shirts (Lemmy did vocals for Hawkwind, a UK psychedelic progressive rock band, before doing lead vocals for Motörhead.
Rock at it's most primal. Magnificent song from a magnificent band. RIP Lemmy
Great reaction to Motorhead Rest In Peace Lemmy Eternal 🤘🤘Next Motorhead Song Back At The Funny Farm from the album Another Perfect Day, awesome song imo
I just find the way you do your hair very attractive ^^
Aww thanks :)
RIP Lemmy btw :( he was a real outlaw in the metal world.
I went to see Motorhead on this tour. Best live band I've seen.
Great reaction to an unbelievable performance. I regret never seeing them live...total legend!
In a different vein, I think you'd love Monster Magnet. The title track to their classic Dopes To Infinity album is simply incredible...
I love the look on people’s faces when they hear the ending of Overkill for the first time. And then the second ending. And then the third ending.
Got to see them 2013 I believe awesome and the bass is so thick hell yea
Love how you're getting into it
Only way to feel the noise
Is when it's good and loud!
So good - I can't believe it!
Screaming with the crowd
!
On your feet; you feel the beat!
It goes straight to your spine!
Shake your head; you must be dead if it don't make you fly
!
Don't sweat it, we'll get it back to you
Know your body's made to move;
You feel it in your guts!
Rock 'n' roll ain't worth the name if it don't make ya strut!
Don't sweat it, we'll get it back to you
!
Don't sweat it, we'll get it back to you!
OVERKILL OVERKILL OVERKILL!
