His lines from Propaganda and Ban This have just always stuck with me thru the years. Any time I've skated along I often think about his flow, trying to emulate it
@ 2:10 ... he inspired me so much to do this trick over and over again. Ban This was (& still is) one of my favorite Sk8-Films, was a great time!. PS: We called him the no comply-Master! =] / Thx for the backround-infos.
He mentioned something about a Mount Rushmore of skateboarding. There are WAAAAYYYYY too many important skateboarders to fit onto that wall. But my nominees would be: Tony Alva Jay Adams Rodney Mullen Tony Hawk Natas Gonz Blender Phillips Barbee Hensley Frankie Hill Pat Duffy Mariano Penny Muska Jamie Thomas... And after that era there are way too many to throw in. Maybe Stevie Williams? Oyola? Kalis? My point is that there are WAAAAAAAYYYYY too many to throw on a mount rushmore of skateboarders.
This was my favorite segment as a kid. It was so smooth and Zen. I went out all the time and tried to emulate this smooth relaxed style. It's still my favorite part to this day and instantly takes me back to that time. Thank you Ray Barbee for the perfect nostalgic memory.
I would love to hear more pros walk us through their most famous parts. The Cardiel bit at the end was great, too. Really funny to hear the difference in how they describe it.

@2:49 is so sick. His skating was so unique and inspired me so much. One of my favorite skaters of all time. Nobody else like him.
He looks like a really cool guy. Such a chill vibe.
Mellow dude, wish I could do some of those no complies!
