I'm 47 now and self employed, grew up a mile from Ray, used to skate with him to Carls Jr. in the Firestone cap days. Watching this video, just decided I cant live without skating....
It was special to get to skate with Ray in San Jose when he was developing those tricks...I learned a lot of them and it made skating more fun and free and creative and flowing for me. My ankles are toasted and it's been years but I always love watching clips and find enjoyment in seeing Ray after all these years.
Inspirational. Thats all I gotta say about Ray. Great song choice too!!!! I love the Dramatics!!!!!! One of the best soul bands of all time.

super dope skating by one of my own generation. skating was just more fun back in the days before the double kick and tiny ass wheels. this has and will stand the test of time. big pants make people offer up excuses like thats just how it was. this shit is ageless.
