Finally, some down-to-earth travel blogger that travel in a similar style I do. Not living in a dorm like hostel or 5 star hotels, your travel advice will definitely suit me ! And I like how articulate your speech is, your voice is very calm, too!
I agree, I love it! Already plotting a return trip for next year, I haven't been north of Paris so I think next time I'll have to visit up there as well!
@@laura-bronner I recommend you to visit Lille, Amiens, La Baie de somme, Touquet Paris Plage (President Macron has his holiday home there). You will see a very different architecture 😊
Wow ... fantastic! And that yummy dessert looks like a heart attack on a plate ... headstone will read "it was a good death". Very inspiring video that moved this destination way up my list, thanks!!
Sure does look interesting & beautiful countryside & shoreline. WOW! its amazing and I so continue to enjoy each & everyone of your videos. Thankyou for sharing Laura and see you again real soon. Cheerio! Greetings from British Columbia, 🇨🇦 Canada.
Thank you so much Lorraine, I'm so glad you enjoy the videos! Hope it's starting to warm up a bit in Canada (although if it's anything like Lithuania, then probably not just yet!).
Hi Laura, We went to the area in the Spring and just wow. We stayed in the lovely Antibes. Grasse is a dream also. I bookmarked your Nice suggestions for next time. Take care - Tara
I’m considering Nice as my first Europe trip ever this year 🥰 this video was so informative. Question…did u use your phone for navigation? If so how does the internet work there google maps? Lol that’s the one thing that worries me.
It's small - really only one exhibit at a time and I get the feeling the exhibit changes, but I really enjoyed it as a bit of a photography lover myself! Information is in both English and French. You can see the upcoming exhibits on their website: museephotographie.nice.fr/expositions/
I always hear that the Riviera is for the wealthy and elite, but these prices you're stating are no different than the prices in California. I think the lobster there is cheaper even. And such large portions. I guess if you're there for a couple weeks, it adds up though. But France doesn't seem at all as expensive as everyone says.
I would say France is a bit cheaper than places like California (or New York where I’m from). It’s more expensive than say Spain or Portugal, but it’s on par with many big cities in the US. Of course, you can splurge like crazy, but you can also simply enjoy good restaurants and things to see and do and it doesn’t cost a fortune.
Nice is more than nice. Yeah, it’s crammed with trippers tripping over other trippers; a lot of the non-Vieille Ville architecture isn’t floating anyone’s boat; heck, even the famed Promenade des Anglais can seem a drag of a main drag if you’re not in the mood. But in toto, and laying aside your preconceived notions, you’ll be charmed by a gorgeous Italianate Old Town; wooed by the winning weather; seduced by the seemingly preternaturally cerulean sea; hell, even the locals seem ok, for a tourist town. Just don’t mention the beach.

France is so welcoming and relaxing from north to south!!!

This place reminds me of Malaga!
@@milariestoro5890 Yes it is very much like Malaga, Spain and other areas of the Costa De Sol!

I’ve heard wonderful things about both of those places as well! I’ll hopefully be back again next year so I’ll check them out then!
YOU are swimming in this cold water in February!? Amazing! About 10°C?

It looks very old town rather than manic big city. Am I right? Heading there in June
I love ❤ this girl
Hi, I'm thinking of going to nice in may, what boat did you rent out and for how long?
Hello ! I love your video . Where did you rent your boat ? Did you book it with a driver ? If not was it hard to navigate and come back ?
I'm also curious about the price!!
Nice looks Nice 👍🤣
How would you rate the photography museum? (I'm a photography enthusiast).
Thanks for sharing!
