A fantastic collection! Wow!!!
These VHS covers never scared me as a kid, I just always thought they looked cool. I remember the Child's Play 1-3, Graveyard Shift, Nightmare/Street 5, and Popcorn being the first horror VHS covers I was introduced to as a kid. That 1994 Friday the 13th VHS was in EP mode and the picture looked terrible, even fans back then complained about them.
I bought my From Crystal/Manhattan DVD box set from Barnes and Noble brand new of all places.
Outstandingly awesome Friday collection!👍 It's nice that you have multiple formats. I have seen some you tubers that only champion 4K and bearly accept Blu-Ray. They completely put down DVD one of them recently said DVDs no one watches DVD anymore who watches DVDs in this day and age. Anyway good showing and cool video Christian!👉😃👈

After watching the scream factory 4K scans of Halloween 1 & 2 tonight it made me think about how this pristine video quality is missing some of the magic of a vhs tape. That gritty, grainy low colour look that gives it a dream like quality. Like your brain has to fill in the missing detail but in a way that makes it feel more realistic and not like you’re looking through a perfect lens.
Not the greatest movies but it’s just something about Jason that makes it my favorite franchise

I Had all these glorious F13 physical media in my collection......until someone took 100% of Them and probably sold it😢 However I have the Scream Factory box set and several steel books✅️ Nice Review 💯 🤟

I think part 5 is Friday the 13th’s Halloween 3. As time goes on it gets a better understanding and more and more people like it. While it’s not my personal favorite I think it’s a lot better than people give it credit for.
If in part 5 Jason was really Jason it would be the best one by a mile imo

I have the 40th anniversary blu ray steelbook of the first Friday and it looks great on my 4k tv (I'm very new to 4k btw). Does it have a 4k scan on it? It doesn't say on the j card.

The ‘94 vhs tapes were SLP, or extended play. That’s why when you look at the cassette, there’s not much actual tape. I used to have the first 4 on VHS that I bought in high school for like 7 bucks apiece. Those were ‘94 reissues.
Excellent collection, Christian. It was a lot of fun going through each release on physical media that you had. Of the Friday the 13th colperiod. Keep the great content coming, my friend.
My wife just got me that 8-Film overstock collection set you showed toward the end, but a bunch of the trays were broken in it. So I just ordered a new case of eBay, and now my version is black instead of clear.

Friday The 13th is my favorite horror movie franchise. I own the SF box set with both posters and the black tin set. I own one of the part 3 mondo posters. Since part 3 is the first horror movie i watched.
