I’m not 100% sure but I believe your videos introduced me to pipe welding a few years ago. I’m 17 now and if all goes well I will be heading off to welding school in a few months. I just want to say thank you for everything especially all the cool tips, tricks, and I side view to welding 🙏🏼

I appreciated the tips on laying the bead. The closeup of your weave pattern was great. Info on what rods you are using, up hill or down hill, and determining the correct heat never gets old. 👍👍

My favorite tip was hanging the Stinger on my pants pocket! I was constantly setting it on the ground and then picking it up. For some odd reason that never occurred to me. I might even incorporate a small utility or hammer pouch to hang the Stinger when I need hands-free to adjust a magnet or something..

Know why i like aross videos? You work a lot like i do and it makes me think my ball and chain job might not have me by the balls forever. You ought to make it so that piece of pipe bolts up to your trailer so you can leave it leaning on the side of the barn until you need to haul another gate.

First objective is to make the opening full width usable by the client and that determines the minimal positioning of the gate (to get it opening beyond the gate posts).

Most of all my work had been structural/Millwright shutdown work. I’m more interested in gates,Equipment etc….. any feed back would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you make a mast (whatever style ya like) to hold signal lights on the trailer where they'll be visible (see DOT regs etc) with a load that can be seen from behind you're legal and safer in poor visibility. LED worklights are cheap these days and also benefit from being raised up.

Left raw and in the elements, how long does one expect to get out of these fences before they start rusting away? Thanks man. Stay safe out there.
