Raga Bihag is a Hindustani classical raga (also spelled raag) belonging to the Bilawal thaat. It is a melodious Raga for beginners as well as experts. Raga Bihag uses all seven music swars. In Bihag, both the Madhyams (Shuddha & teevra) are used. The Shuddha Madhyam is more prominent; Teevra Madhyama is only used with Panchama in the phrase PA MA' GA MA GA.

I am 23 years old and I have met only 1 person in my age group who can vibe to this beautiful music with me.
Gen Z needs to listen to more classical music. It transforms you and transports you to a heavenly space.
Absolutely beautiful !! 🕉️
hey if u want to get connected...
Hey bro, i'm 21 .. I also don't fine anyone 😢
Hey bro I'm 20, also I don't find anyone
Hey I'm 18...from past 5-6 yr I m listening....bt haven't found a single person who can understand me and my music.....vide to dur ki baat kya kaaru...😢
Heyy
Even there is no friend of mine who likes classical music
And I'm the only one in my friend circle who loves classical music.
The output sound of tabla is vastly different in this video compared to some of darbar's older videos. The echo is a lot more evident. The sitar also sounds exceptionally spatial. I noticed the stereo pencil mics equidistant from the sitar. It seems they might have placed some microphones on the ceiling across the auditorium to provide a more immersive experience to viewers, it's as if we are present in the concert hall. A treat to listen to.
However, I personally enjoy the truer tone of the instruments more, as the strokes and the playing sounds more accurate. I love to hear the different pressures applied on the banya (left or the bigger tabla). Ustad Shahid ji's & Ojas ji's video is my all time favorite!
Bhai! Can we connect? Would want to learn from you? How can I connect with you?
The bit from 0:18 to 0:26 is like a small wave within still water trying to settle 🙂
Indian classical music is the best in the world ❤❤
And what spell did the musicians cast that the clappings of the audience sounded like torrents of rain falling amidst a symphony of gods.
What a beautiful image of words 🥹🌦️
There R instances of classical music artists getting irritated by frequent clapping, nd leaving th stage stopping th concert in th middle.. . . nd some audiences were also usd to say they r irritated bcz of clapping in th mid of th concert. In a concert Pt. ShivKumar Sharma once told to th clapping audience that, getting exited to certain BOLLS of tabla is common at th same time u miss th nuance of main music.....Western audience give along standing ovation only at th end of concert.....
O, dear magicians! what have you done!
This one's gonna stay forever with me, through all my ups and downs!
Waiting for Ustad Zakir Hussain to bless the darbar stage 😍
The flute was so melodic, it's like Krishna himself sat and played the flute
😊
true 💙
What a comment❤❤❤❤
It is actually Krishna's Nephew playing

Our pleasure!
Rakesh Ji's virtuosity is unfolding dazzling paraphernalia of blissful new possibilities of Bansuri playing ❤
One of the best bihaag I have listened ever
So so loving it ❤❤❤but the sitar part is too much like dial it down rakesh ji is so cool and so relaxed but sitar too fast too loud
I felt exactly the same. Purbayan Chatterjee is disrupting the relaxed and sustained performance by Rakeshji and he's not even giving a second's gap before Rakeshji finishes. He's washing over the ambiance created by the flute immediately, after each flute rendition. He's like....listen only to me. Gosh.
such joyous fun among friends!
Bharat vishwa guru hai hi.

Question for tabla players, is this tabla a new version with key tuning? Same sound as the traditional one? Regards
Yes it is a new design satyajit talwalkar in this video got this tabla from a maker in Pune named hanif he makes this new design. Advantages are it is easier to change the head if needed and the tuning stays longer and is not as effected by the outside temperature
What a combination radhe and sreekrishna
Ustad tari khan ka vid upload kery
