Fascinating info. I always felt bad that I didn't try to get my senior father into bankruptcy when he finally shared how bad off he and his wife were financially. They had assets and she wouldn't stop spending. He passed quickly after I found out about his finances. Sounds like bankruptcy would not have been an option.
