- Hi! It's been a week and I come back with another Animatics (haha I need to get a life)
I knew this song fits Kaeya and Diluc more but I can't draw hot guys, spare me T_T my skill is limited
So I settled with My two fav character,the twins, Aether and Lumine. I hope you enjoy this Animatic as much as i enjoy making this!

i seriously hope when mc confronts their sibling, that the sibling will have voice lines in the story because i love both Aether and Lumine's VAs

the sad part is that, aether might actually have to do that. After talking to another fellow theorist and watching a lot of trailers we came up with a theory of who lumine truly is and what aether has to do to find his sister and take down the abyss order, and the outcome we made with it, isnt a happy one, of course its a theory, but honestly i believe what I found might be correct knowing that mihoyo loves to make sad endings

It’s gonna be sad to see MC kill their sibiling (it’s the most logical ending yet I think) and not to mention the grief the mc will feel because they would have traveled around the world for like 4 years trying to find their sibiling only to kill them off :((

Like there's seriously only gonna be one way this game ends, and it's gonna be the fact the other twin becomes corrupt and the MC will have to kill them.

I see two potential endings.
1. You spend a bunch of this series with your other twin being the main antagonist. After you fight them in the end, they change their ways and decide to join your team, moments before being killed by the BBEG. (who is probably not as hard of a fight as your twin was.)
2. The second one is that they're just good and join your team in the end and the two of you just choose to stay in teyvat together (or leave? either feels equally likely, but staying makes more sense story wise to me.) with the other twin not actually being a playable character but just like... being an NPC who you maybe have an after story with or something.

Edit: they saw each other again. The other twin didn’t at least hug us, little sad about that. They were right in front of us but we couldn’t do anything 😭🏃🏻♀️
I feel like it's going to be a "Bittersweet" ending so like they will see each other again somehow and have their short hug and reunion and then one of the twins will die a few seconds after or will die in a final battle with the unknown god for example, just theory's though.

don’t crush my hope when i say this but
i think there’s a chance the other mc will become playable- so that you can use both
i think that the other sibling got corrupted, kinda like dvalin got corrupted and then purified
but there’ll probably be a big fight where you have to use ALL of the elements to purify them.
and if genshin continues to add- the other twin will probably have like an ai or something that allows them to fight against enemies with each other as they explore new worlds- not just teyvat

There’s this one Genshin video made by Genshin themself that shows a story of a princess who become corrupted by a pearl and becomes the queen of darkness and a prince who wants to save the princess since it’s his sister and I think it connects to danslief as the prince and someone else who died and lumine or aether is searching for the pearl and at the end she might be the new queen of darkness and the Mc will have to fight her or him tbh this is just a lame theory
They should have the fight have two endings, one where you deplete all his/her HP and she is freed, but dies and another where you just have to dodge all the attacks and refuse to fight, until eventually he/she eventually fights back from the corruption, and then you have to free him/her

I’m the twin brother of my sister and we both kinda look like Aether and Lumine so this made me tear up so badly. I mained Aether before learning the lore and now as I’m traveling through Liuye to find Adepti, I’m so scared about what I may have to go through. This was beautiful and you are very talented

like maybe (since i picked aether) lumine decides to go off onto the next world while aether stays in teyvat because of all the friends he's made there while lumine doesn't have that connection
though this also depends on a lot of stuff like finding out about the truth of khaenri'ah, the archons, celestia, and gold/alchemy as well as the tsarita's motives

okay so imagine this. on a certain level you get to play as both mcs then you'll only have to deal with the fatui and the whole abyss order since they don't agree with the other twin anymore
I don't think the fatui are with the abyss order, because the abyss order hate humanity and the fatui serve the tsaritsa. So the other twin is only working with the abyss order not the with the tsaritsa and the fatuis😅
If I'm gonna have to play that part of MC killing their sibling I am going to sob ugly and yeet my phone out the window

I played a pokemon game once (mystery doungeon, where there are no humans and you are the pokemon and have an adventure team with your best friend) and the main character just... left, back to their own world because they were actually a human, and the screen just went black and told me that [mc] is gone now and may continue playing as [best friend].
Imagine Aether dies and we play on as Lumine (or the other way around). I would cry like I did back then!

You wanna know what would be really sad?
Getting attached to the MC only to have their sibling kill them. And then in their grief they become uncorrupted and have to live on with their sibling’s blood on their hands, never to truly be reunited.
That would break so many hearts, but if it’s not played correctly then it wouldn’t work as well.
This has really aged well with the story

Plot twist: we reach what would be just before the final fight with Lumine/Aether, a cutscene shows us enter her/his chamber, she/he greets as is typical for these types of stories before preparing to attack, and then our character goes
"Damn it, Lumine/Aether, if you had told me we were going for World Domination we could have been done by now"

this hits hard after the story quest
The lyrics really relate to Aether and Lumine’s situation though... two birds on a wire, meaning two birds from the same background, both staying together. But then one bird tries to fly away/ keep fighting, possibly for the sake of their sibling but the other bird never left. They were on the wire the whole time and simply watched their sibling as they lied to them.

also imagine if we'll end up destroying Teyvat aswell bc why not.. there hasn't been a game where the ending is ruthless owo

- the twins reunite and are okay but have to leave
- the evil twin kills the mc and reigns genshin
- the mc has to kill evil twin and have to leave knowing they killed their only sibling
- the twins reunite and are okay, they stay in genshin but they die there and mihoyo shows a very sad scene
- saddest one yet, mihoyo leaves us on a cliffhanger
