- I'm back!!! It's been a month since I last upload, here I present you another genshin Impact Animatic, Therefore you and me.
I've always wanted to draw Kaeya and Diluc since their backstory and siblings rivalry intrigued so much, but I'm scared that I can't draw them nicely lol.
I've tried to step out of my comfort zone, making Animatics with colours, drawing handsome guys and complex editing. (Shout-out to my dormmate and my man Mass and my parents for keep supporting me doin this).

Keaya has so much “ill sacrifice myself and die” energy and i dont like that

In my experience characters that has similar personalities like Kaeya are all so selfless and just as you said will most likely sacrifice themselves. Whether that be in love, battles, and etc. I’ve seen it too many times in anime and Kaeya oh gosh. If he does die I will literally sob.

what hurts the best is that "As a result of trusting/As a result of betraying" is true for both of them. Kaeya trusted Diluc with his past, Diluc betrayed him. Diluc trusted Kaeya and didn't spill his secret, but because of the distance he put between them and how he treated Kaeya afterwards, Kaeya responded with betrayal. It hurts so good and I adore you.
actually isnt it Diluc trusted Kaeya but Kaeya revealed that he was a spy so he kinda betrayed Diluc and mondstadt?
@@BearSobBing Kaeya basically made his choice when he gave Diluc power over him by confessing. Also, Kaeya was left as a spy when he was a child, something no normal kid could ever be expected to do. Kaeya hasn't betrayed anybody left. As to what he'll do in the future... Who can say.

@@BearSobBing Well we hear from Mona that "He thinks he has left his past behind him" and she is a literal fortune teller so we know that sentence is legit. That sentence indicates that Kaeya has gotten away from his Khaenri'an past and isn't spying for them anymore, if he did ever that's still unclear. I like to think that when the time comes to choose he will choose Mondstat but honestly you really can't know for sure
Kaeya was sent under the pretext of being a "spy" as a little kid, however he lost all contact with his family and origins. He was left alone and mondstat raised him, he won't side up with khaenriah, I think he made the decision the day he got his vision and lost his only family left because of that secret. He's always protecting mondstat still, always caring, and still wants to bond with diluc.... He is suffering so much tbh..

everyone from Khaenri'ah are sus to me, hence the idea or concept to make this Animatic were born

So there's war between Mondstadt and the abyss, and because theory of Khaenri'ah being connected to the abyss, Kaeya need to pick a side. Diluc expect that someone like him, who use to betray their brotherhood will not hesitate to side with the abyss, but it was the opposite. Kaeya died protecting Monstadt, at the last moment Diluc hold him in his arm
"Why?" Tears start to fall down.
Why do Kaeya protect his adoptive hometown?
Kaeya say with a smile, that even someone from such a dirty background could stand up for the thing they care.
And at the last breath,
Diluc finally call him brother.

i am so scared that kaeya dies or gives in to the abyss (i don't know anymore) and Diluc is forced to end his life just like he did to his father (imagine the despair of having to go through that twice).

I dont he think he would possibly die. Well, kaeya is a playable character and a starter character in the first place so if he were to die what will happen to the kaeya in our party? Well him dying is not logical but the other option, yes.

I really just realized that MiHoYo can easily kill any character they want because of how it will not effect the story like Seele and Yae Sakura in Honkai Impact

Not really kill but ended his (father) pain after he (father) used a delusion to save Diluc. Kaeya blames himself for not being able to save him (father) though. ( Lore from character story and manga )
Diluc killed their father to end the pain from the Delusion because it exploded but didn’t kill Master Creptus on impact. Kaeya was to late to stop Diluc and watched. And then Kaeya got his Vision.
CaliPupcorn i think (from kaeya’s vision lore) he admitted to diluc that he was from khaenri’ah and diluc attacked him, he got his vision for holding off against diluc, you’re pretty spot on on the rest though

Okay first your arts are amazing and really this animatic is soooo well done it really show well their relationship (nah not crying hdowgd-)
Second how you fit the lyrics w/ your arts, especially the end I-
"As a result of trusting, as a result of betraying" = like it was written since the start and b/c of their actions they can't have another end for them
"As a result of not noticing" = saying by Diluc for me it's the worst lyric like. It's so true. B/c of the distance he put between them, it results in Kaeya changing for (the best? The worst?) And he was the only person who could stop him but... It's too late
"What do you know ? And what will you choose?" = By Diluc again like he still have doubts it's too much-
The angst gets me really it's one of the best Diluc/Kaeya animatic I saw for "post relationship" I love the fact that you add Lumine at the end of the video.... You're incredible 🙌

I love the sketchy style; it's something that I'm trying to work on with my own art style. Also, the transitions, the symbolization, literally everything is amazing and I love it so much!! The scene where the second chorus came on and Kaeya's eye was fully revealed gave me literal chills. Also, because of this animatic I like the song, and I can't listen to it without watching your animatic. And, all the expressions were absolutely spot on. The way you were able to convey betrayal, fear, acceptance, and many other emotions was so very impressive, and I aspire to be able to do such a thing. I have a collection of animatics/animations that I really really love and yours was added after my first time watching it. I love your work!!

I have not yet unlocked Kaeya's full story yet so if anyone is willing to explain it i'd be happy. While playing the game it was clear Dulic was involved somehow but other than that I only know Kaeya as the guy who can freeze water and is good at fighting lava slimes.

What I love about their backstory is that they got so much emotions. Also how I know that unlike some people say, Kaeya will not betray Mondstadt for the Abyss. It just makes no sense at all.
My guy was sent to Mondstadt as a child, being a spy could just have been a cover story, having grown up in a much warmer and welcoming enviornment, I'm sure he has seen Mondstadt as his home, and even Mona says that he has severed ties with his past.
The sad thing about this is-
Their whole entire miscommunication. It's so damn obvious that they both miss being eachother's sibling, yet because of everything that's happened, they don't know how to mend their relationship.
Kaeya is obviously trying, always striking up a conversation and everything
Diluc looks like he's uncertain on what to do, but it's not like he wants to push Kaeya away, consodering he reads his letters and kept the vase that didn't even fit the rest of the decor
I feel like what's really keeping them apart is both of their guilt.
Kaeya feels guilty and I'm sure he blames himself for what Diluc is going through, since if he hadn't told him about the secret that's been weighing his soul since he was a child, he could be still there for Diluc, confronting him ect
Diluc could be feeling guilty for when he attacked Kaeya over it without hearing him out and pushing him away and now he feels like there's no going back
