Bonaire - Try out of my new adapted kiteboard (wakeboarding)

In december 2016 I have had a motorbike accident which has caused a spinal cord injury. The doctors told me I would never be able to walk again.
I had to let go of many things, but one thing I could not and did not want to accept: The thought of never being able to surf again. During my rehabilitation I decided to take on this challenge.
With crowdfunding I collected the amount required to let an adapted kitesurf board be produced. The production and assembling of the kiteboard took 3 months.
In this video I'm trying out my new kiteboard for the first time. There was no wind, so I went wakeboarding behind a boat. The next day I did my first attempt with a kite instead of a speedboat. Also check out my next video! I hope you enjoy.
