- Following the news of the DWFRS 4x4 appliances being soon replaced, I had to get to Poole fire station to try and catch one, and they did not let us down!
Dorset and Wiltshires 4x4 appliances may be the biggest offroad pump in the UK, and won't be around much longer. Soon to be replaced with a 2022 Scania, we wonder if the performance is better or worse.

Merseyside has a Man 4X4 it spends most of it's life parked up. It goes on the run occasionally as a relief pump.

Lots of Fire Services use these, wouldnt say this is the biggest one in the UK. Bedfordshire have 3 of these as their Rural Water Tenders.

The new Scanias are so much smarter than the old MEN*. Staffordshire’s three 08 plate 4x4 MEN* will need retiring soon. I hope they replace them with Scanias.
