That’s a wrap for season 1! This episode I took on a director role and we used a team to edit. To be able to make impossible route go beyond me I need to learn how to make this scalable. If you enjoyed this edit I can’t any credit for it. I appreciate your feedback and your support in this journey. The whole team of The Impossible Route is blown away by the support this project has gotten and we are eager to start season 2. This route was beyond words in both difficulty and beauty. I know I can come off negative but we all have dark thoughts when we are struggling, most hide them, but I attempt to give you a peak into the mental side of these epic adventures. If you felt this was worth buying the team a coffee, any donations go a long way. Thank you for the love and support and I can’t wait to show you what’s in store for season 2. www.paypal.com/paypalme/vegancyclist
I’ll watch tonight ! I am sure this is a bangner, however I almost just scrolled through. the tumbnail could be more inciting in my opinion, just dont want you to loose potentiel support !
I had to do some meetings this morning, so I finally just got to watch. I could tell that it wasn't your edits, but I think the editing was excellent. I also think this was the best one yet because they used you to tell more of the story. Another amazing movie.
VC, keep up the amazing work and these epic rides. You have over 200k subscribers who are eager for your unique cycling content. Forward ever, backwards never. JAH Rastafari!
WOW! What a dream come true. I am just in awe of how a batshit crazy idea can blossom into a movie! It would not be possible without the support of you guys our beloved fans that fan the flame of obsession!! Thank you! The editors really brought their best, Benjamin Kraushaar and Ben Saheeb killed it on Video and Drone Tyler who just amazes me with his resilience and creative visions and story telling! Ryan thank you for bringing your expertise into the mix, Walker for his camera hustle and ace night driving, and our ace in pocket Travis the Swiss army Knife Longfellow. And of course thank you to all the sponsors for being behind this massive effort!
@@jeremiahbishopswheelhouse I could tell you were the way you were hammering it out! I have loved all 4 of the Impossible Routes and cannot wait for more! Thank you! Merry CHRISTmas!
Tyler needs to start giving himself a tad more credit for doing these rides. You might be the average joe, the squid, the whatever you want to call it, but you're a legend man.
Totally agree and you are amazing! Love when you become one with who and where you are and one with nature and the mountain. I love your acknowledgement of comparison of yourself to pro level was robbing you of joy of what you were actually doing. Keep going Tyler and be you!
Watched all 4 of your impossible routes and immediately after I just wanna get on my bike and ride. So epic, you capture the fun and struggle of riding so perfectly.
Kudos to you three! You are all truly an inspiration. I started riding late in life after having terminal cancer and given six months to live. MTB has saved my life....not that I have ever done anything like you guys...but like Tyler says, enjoy your ride and do your best...
The thing I love the most about these videos is watching Tyler's open and emotional journey, and how he rationalises it all and drags himself out of the numerous holes he finds himself in. The production on this was amazing and you nailed everything. The only thing missing for me was the teamwork aspect, that special moment where you all come together to overcome hardship. The pushing the one-legged Travis up a mountain so you can all win together moment. It seemed to me, that Ryan wanted to willy wave a little, and JB joined in on the swinging as well, which left it as 3 individual stories instead of The Fellowship of the Chainring.
Hey John! Going in we knew that with the slim chance of completion we would need to split up at some point. It was a tough call to make to go ahead of Tyler but ultimately we tried to balance riding and experiencing things together and also seeing if this route was possible for any of us. Next time we are bringing tethers :)
Awesome! The 90's arcade videogame style was Amazing! You must Absolutely have your impossibile rides series on Netflix or Amazon this videos are incredibile!
I loved it when Jeremiah thought that he was at the top of Engineer's pass, but then he pans the camera around, and the road still is going up. That is the story of every one who is half way up an epic climb.
Thanks! Never "gave" to a video before. Appreciate this video. Geez, you've come so far as a rider, content provider and family man! Awesome work Tyler and team. Happy healthy 2022!!!
Bad news tyler: now its impossible to make an ever better video. Perfect all around and so extremly enjoyable! Love your content, have been watching for years:)
Can we talk about the fact that JB nabbed the 2nd fastest-ever time on Engineer Pass, in the latter half of this journey through Heaven and Hell? Absolute freak of nature, folks.
I remember when I first had the thought that, "whoa, this guy isn't a vlogger, he's a film maker". It was way back there, before the Impossible Routes. Congrats.
Whoa, so epic and so awesome to have the Colorado Rockies showcased for the world to see! Kudos to Tyler for hanging tough, and a big shout out to local Boulder hero, Ryan Petry, as well as living MTB legend JB for pushing on at such a relentless a dogged pace. All three of y'all really are inspiring and had such great insights and perspectives to share--thank you! I'm looking forward to doing this very route on a 3-4 day bike packing trip next summer. RIP and Godspeed to Ben, his legacy lives on. This was THE Impossible Route.
Thank You to everyone involved in presenting this series. I got in my 90 minute indoor Trainer Road ride done, video was great to watch during my workout!
Have watched all of your previous impossible routes and you guys continue to inspire me to do something just beyond my limits, Tyler your quote “ I do what I do” is my new mantra
The MOST inspiring cycling film to date. All three riders did an unbelievable job of capturing the difficulty of this ride/route... mind-boggling effort!
Waauw, what a movie! Enjoyed it from the start to the end. The edit was superb, but to be honest, if you had not talked about it in your daily vlogs, I would not have noticed you didn't do the edit. So that is a complement to you!
"Doubts are normal" but "quitting is not an option, not possible". What an awesome quote that lead into epic music. Great mindset and way to use your head. "Goonies never say die!" And neither did you. Great movie and gonna watch the next one right after this.
I think this was my favorite video… I also think it’s innate to compare what you’re doing to someone who’s doing the same thing - especially if you want to show you can carry-your-own-weight in the process… however, being able to ditch that, cause it will make you miserable, is key to finding some joy… I felt that moment cause I hate climbing in the sense of trying to keep up with better climbers… lol
I've ridden most of those passes with my 4x4. I'd like to try just one of those passes on my bike for a part of a day at my own, unhurried pace. But I couldn't imagine riding ALL of them like that ya'll did - in ONE DAY. Congratulations! on the incredible effort and accomplishment. Fantastic video production too.
I've driven most of these passes, and I'm an avid mountain biker. Never in my wildest dreams have I imagined climbing even one lf them on a bike, let alone multiple. This is insane. Well done fellas 👊
Man you don’t give yourself enough credit for how impressive you are. You’re constantly riding with world class athletes in their specialties so I’m sure it changes the lens, but you definitely are not an “average joe” anymore. You are a full on inspiration. You inspire me and countless other true average Joes to get out on our bikes and push ourselves to do something that seems unattainable. Give yourself the credit you’ve earned man! Thank you for everything you do!
Tyler, I think you come off as human and extremely relatable rather than negative. You go through ALL the emotions on these impossible routes and are not afraid to be honest with us. That's brave and you inspire me to go on more of these bikepacking adventures. Thank you.
“7-Layer Burrito of WTF” best line ever!!! Plan on stealing it about 1000 times!!! Amazing movie-video-docudrama I don’t even know what to call what I just watched!!! Amazing job to you and the whole crew!! #tankapproved #epicride
Loved the episode. I've watched all 4. For me, the editing was great and the movie was enjoyable to watch but I'd have to day its not quite the same as Death Valley for example which you edited yourself. For me that really brought some emotion. Keep them coming, looking forward to the next one
Tyler I love the fact that you like to just jump into things not always fully prepared. You’re gutsy as shit. Love that. You are so real and authentic and it is helping me and I’m sure a whole lot of people. Keep going.
Great video. I loved the video game theme. The views are unreal, even on camera. I thought the smartest thing Tyler did was stop comparing himself. Like he said, it robs you of the experience. It was a great ride by everyone.
Agree Jeff, its the gem of covid as a racer. Embrace your best and feel out your own best ride with what you have. I think its something everyone can learn from. 10 miles or 100 miles we all have our limit. Let's go find it and exceed it!
Hi Tyler I love and support your channel and what you are doing. You have such a unique way of telling your stories which is why I love your videos. I want to be honest and say that something was missing in this one. Was it too many special effects or the choice of music ? Colours also felt different to your usual videos. You and the team did well. Congratualtions on completing this challenge 👍 Keeping on doing what you are doing. Stay safe

Hey Tyler. Just want to thank you for the inspiration. I'm a 60 year old cardiac patient, having had a major blockage two years ago. When I realized, I was having trouble, I changed to 100% vegan diet. Shortly after, had four visits to the ER before getting angioplasty and two stents. Luckily I did not have an actual heart attack and lost no heart muscle. I am able to exercise without restriction. Cycling has been a huge part of my recovery and your videos have helped with my motivation. Started out with just a couple miles and have worked up to riding typically 20 to 50+ miles at a time. I'm now more fit than most people my age. Thanks so much for sharing your experience. It is an inspiration to me, and I'm sure to many others.
I loved this. These climbs and passes are batshit crazy on a bike. But the views are so sweet! I turned that synthesizer and like those digital note sounds up in my room it sounds so good some Tron movie (2010) or deadmau5 vibes... I have to watch this again Definately

This is such an inspiration!! But Jeremiah's comments - "No one should ever go and do this ride!!" sums it up! THANK YOU guys for this!
”This cork screw pass is insane, it´s so steep” Proceeds to climb it one-handed while filming. Awesome!

Perfect timing on this one especially after the last few weeks of personal vlogs.
Gives us a way bigger perspective on what it takes to not only ride these routes, but editing and all the behind the scenes work that it takes to get it Done.
