Anyone saying this is expensive for a room literally in the park with included admission, fast passes, dinner, exclusive night access etc, etc... has never stayed at Disney.
I live 10 minutes away from this park. People are staring at you because here in Germany no one is quite used to people recording themselves out in the open. 😅 I'm happy you enjoyed my childhood park!
There interesting thing about Phantasialand is that despite featuring countless attractions and 8 roller coasters, the park itself is only a little over 9 Hektars in total space. It’s extremely „cramped“ when compared to most other theme parks, forcing a lot of vertical planning.
They're also not allowed to build higher than the treeline, that's why this park looks so flat overall. They made an incredible themepark with all these limitations.
@@xAciasx They theoretically can build above the teeline (mystery castle f.e.) however in that case, they’d need to install extensive noise protection for the surrounding residential area. They had to do the same when they built Colorado adventure, hence why the entire coaster is now surrounded by those artificial mountains. And since this is both expensive and difficult to theme, they’re circumnavigating this by quite literally digging down. China Town, the old part of Mexico and Wuztown are all on street level, Rookburg, Deep in Africa, the new part of Mexico and Klugheim are all beneath street level, in case of Klugheim more than 11 meters. I’ve never seen a theme park do this before, it’s mind blowing how they use every square meter available.
The whole park is so full of love for design and details and feeling. Was in Legoland Billund this week and came out and thought. Yeah. But I like Phantasialand more.
For those who think that the hotel room is a little small (like me) don't worry, the theme park has multiple hotels and the one in china-town area has larger rooms (sadly they aren't as themed, they are more like normal hotel rooms
I feel you. I grew up with visiting Phantasialand, it changed so often during the time. I am 36 now and every time I visit Phantasialand there is something new to discover. You can watch the history and the drastic changes in a lot of videos here. I wonder what is next to pop up and enchant the people.
@@reio_riisna If I'm honest, 600€ is a lot if you think about how small and cramped the room is. Normal entree to the park is about 60€ so you can subtract about 150€ (I added a bit extra since you get some special treatment as a hotel guest) and are still left with a whopping 450€ for two nights. I know other theme parks are also not cheap but at least the rooms are much bigger and feel a bit more... Special? If you plan on going for a trip there I recommand staying in Cologne or somewhere close for much less and then take some sightseeing on the side too! ;)
This park is like an hour away from me, it's nice to see it from an outside perspective. Also thanks algorithm, for bringing me here, definitely subscribing!
When watching the video, I realized: As a one-day guest of a theme park which has themed hotels you are missing "half of the truth", as you will not see the hotel rooms. 🥲
yeah Phantasialand has its theming down to every last bit. The attention to detail is amazing. For Africa they for example even imported actual vases and decorations from Africa and build things authentic to the eye
I didn't know about the fact about Africa, but when I walked around that area it did seem extremely authentic which was so surprising and very immersive. Such a cool area and the lengths they go to make it as authentic as possible makes it even better!
@@reio_riisna It’s not only Africa, they did it for 1920s Berlin and China as well. If I remember correctly they even worked with Chinese architects to authentically re- build these structures inside the park and for Berlin you can see it with all the decor in Mouse au Chocolat for example. It‘s absolutely impressive. And fun fact the roller coaster Colorado Adventure was actually named by Michael Jackson who also visited the park I think there are still videos of him on- ride from back in the day in the late 90s🙏🏻
@@mrsfahrenheit Yes, because they hired Chinese architects for the job the Chinese Hotel Ling Bao is actually the largest Chinese building outside of Asia in the world
I’m the guy walking past you in that first clip of you in the entrance to the Hotel! I remember seeing you and wondering what you were filming about 😂 I was on my final day of a massive 8-park road trip through Germany! Great video man!
no wayyy that is so freaking funny that you happened to stumble upon this video 😂 I saw on your channel you went to Europapark too and I remember seeing a dude with a gopro strapped on his chest there, maybe that was you as well?? I was in Europapark from the 25th to 26th of June. Wish we could've hung out, maybe next time :D
I am glad you liked it. I grew up only 15min from the park. I remember going there when they only had a fairy tail forest for small kids, you could rent rowing boats and a playground. That was it. It is amazing what they made out of the park.
I'm really glad more people are learning about Phantasialand, I've been to over 70 different theme and amusement parks and this one is by far my favorite.
That's so great to hear. I grew up going to the park with my family and friends and still go twice a year with my girlfriend now. I have only been to one other theme park so far (Hyde Park) and did not find it nearly as good as Phantasialand. I thought I was bias because of nostalgia, but maybe I am not 😊
Spent like 15 mins watching this thinking it fully had like 500k views bc the algorithm pushed it to me and only noticed when I read another comment 😂 great video!!
Something that’s really cool about Phantasialand and what also makes it so detailed, they are very active at searching out old stuff like lanterns, silverware etc. to decorate the park. So quite a lot of the details you see around are actually originals gathered from yard sales, eBay and so on.
6:53 : the mind behind Rookburgh (and actually everything in Phantasialand since Colorado Adventure. He basically had "carte blanche" for every single thing he designed in the park) is called Eric Daman. Unfortunately he passed away a few years ago... He left such a huge heritage for the amusement park industry !
Amazing video! Phantasialand is super special because its built in a really small space and they have no way to expand. Its super tightly packed and everything is interwoven. It feels so magical :D
Bless the algorithm 😂 thank you so much for the good words! New Zealand is on my bucket list for countries to visit, so expect a video from when I'm there in... 3-4 years mby? 😅
@@littlepinkcactus lol yea that's not a common thing to see here in germany. Having a loud monologue with a camera in a crowded place is perceived as awkward for most germans
If you want to walk legally through a park at night, I can really recommend the Slagharen park in the Netherlands. As a person sleeping on the campsite or in the vacation apartments, you can walk through the entire park at night. It really is a unique experience.
Btw, a little information for "Mystery Castle" and "Talocan". Both attractions have set programs which are used to run those. If you want the better experience from both, go there either really early, so quite after the opening of the park, or really late, so quite before the closing of the park, or better said of the attractions. During those times they tend to run the longer and more intense program than during the "normal" day
Everything about that experience is both superb and feels surreal. It really does make you forget the outside world completely and it feels very strange once you check-out of the hotel and leave and see the "real world" again.
Props to sparing the other guests the "seated next to an influencer" experience. If only everybody filming for social media was respectful like that. :)
I was there in Winter. Never ever again. The newer roller coasters are all very sensitive, especially in cold temperatures. I stood in line for over two hours at Taron because it was constantly broken. At -2 degrees Celsius... FLY also had constant problems and you couldn't ride many things or had to wait forever. I had better experiences in the summer.
Seeing you enjoing the theme park i basicly spent some of the best childhood memories with, even calling it the best park brings me so much pride I live really close to the park so when i was in school my mom and i visited the park at least twice a year in summer and winter and it was always a blast Its always sad to see some of my childhood place being gone like western town, because they changed it up over the years, but i enjoyed alot that you enjoyed it alot. Also seeing the inside of the hotel area is something i always wondered about and wanted to explore myself, so its nice being able to experience it through such a nice vlog
I live 20-30 minutes away from the Phantasialand and I really enjoyed seeing someone visiting the park the first time and beeing so exited about it. Phantasialand really cares about being as immersive as possible, like the employees even wear themed clothes. I really enjoyed going there with family, friends or the school even I am not a big fan of rollercoasters.
Phantasialand is truly the best themed park in europe. The prices seem much, but it includes the entry for the days of stay + a very immersive Hotel + very high tier dinner + fast passes for f.l.y exclusively for Lindbergh guests + a really immersive experience in general. It's like you're in another world But you should also check out the other 2 themed hotels, they're neat, too
Yes! I've heard many people say the prices are actually quite cheap when compared to other theme parks that offer similiar hotel packages. But it is so worth it in either case! The other 2 hotels seem great as well yep, I was thinking of going again during the Winterevents and staying in one of these
@@reio_riisnahonestly been making ai art and using chatgpt to try and figure out what the hell one of my ideas, (a ride themed in the 1880s of a hunter vs the riders, who are riding a fictional extinct species fleeing away from the hunter.)
And now that I've finished the video: Damn, I live 40 minutes away from Phantasialand but I didn't go there in the last 22 years! I guess I was so traumatised by that place as a child that I just started hating it. Every year in school we had at least one school trip to Phantasialand, so it started to feel like being forced to go there. Then the place burned down.( I SWEAR IT WASN'T ME!) After that I pretty much forgot about Phantasialand for a long time. In the last years I wondered how the park is now and I have to say the theming looks absolutely phant(asialand)astic! I didn't expect it to look THAT good! Especially that the hotel is so integrated into the park! I knew that it got some major updates, but it doesn't look like the park from back then at all! Maybe I will give it another chance next spring!
Na ja, du wirst das Phantasialand definitiv nicht wiedererkennen nach 22 Jahren 😂 Es gibt kaum noch Fahrgeschäfte von früher, eigentlich nur noch die Geister Rikscha .
Yt algorithm got me here aswell. I love ur authentic view and the curiosity about the things u see and experience. u have such a calm and relaxed personality. Keep up the great work! :) Greetings from Berlin.
Unlikely to become a thing for Phantasialand with the way that the neighbours complain about all the noise. If this is something that you truly wish to experience you can join some coaster clubs that sometimes get ERT (Exclusive Ride Time) on some of the most beloved coasters in parks. Would normally be just before the park opens to the public or after it has closed.
Actually I can highly recommend to stay at the chinese themed hotel in Phantasialand. The hotel has much more spacious rooms for lesser prices. Sure: you won't have the same experience of being that close to the attractions. But the mood and atmosphere in the hotel is well worth it.
Awesome Video! :D Phantasialand is definitely one of the best Themeparks, we have in Germany - it's not exactly my Number One, but at the top-3! :D I'll never forget, my wife, two of our friends and me went to Phantasialand - we chose a random day in the middle of the week. At the drive to Phantasialand we talked, that they finished the build of F.L.Y, but no one was knew, when they will open. We enjoyed the day and eventually, they called through the speakers, that they will soft-opening Rookburg and Fly NOW, so we walked to it and being one of the first maybe 200 Person, who drove with F.L.Y - it was an amazing feeling! But the Summernights in Asiatown are a little more magical (the park will close around 7 p.m than and reopens one hour later - not the whole park, I guess, but every time, it was an amazing evening with shows on Stage and so on...and especially the Winterevents are amazing, where they had snow falling from many of the buildings, everything is lightened like Christmas and the whole park gets an incredible feeling! :) Hope to see you someday in Phantasialand! :D
Thank you so much! And yess, I also visited Europapark right after Phantasialand, which was almost equally awesome to me (I was exhausted from the trip at that point, so couldn't enjoy it to the fullest). But Europapark is also definitely up there with the best theme parks in EU. And man, what a story to tell, that you were one of the first 200 people to ride F.L.Y.! That is so cool! And thanks for the tip about Asiatown. I'm definitely going back sometime for the Winterevents as I've heard so much positive about it. Catch you next time! :D
@@reio_riisna yeah, EP is awesome, but in my opinion overrated. They have great coasters, but every time I visited EP it was just too full. 😁 so I enjoy the less visited parks more 😁
I didn´t scrolled through all of the comments, but what you ate was Zwiebelmett! Its kind of a raw tatar and has it´s most tasty impact, when its in a Brötchen (german bread roll) with butter. It´s a german thing I guess. What you had to try if you come back is: A "halve hahn". It´is a Röggelchen mit butter und mittelaltem Gouda (Röggelchen with butter and mid ages gouda) Its a regional spcialty!!!
Its one of the best parks in germany but its unfortunatly limitit by space because of an Autobahn on one side, a main street on another and natur reserves around it. so if they wanna build something new they have to get rid of one or more attractions
My favourite theme park in Germany is the Europapark but my wife who likes the shows in the parks the most likes Phantasialand the most. My most beloved ride is in Phantasialand, though (Taron)
Man what is yt algorithm smoking just push this channel out in the wild already. Epic video and the entire thing looks so awesome, only the pricing is expensive but the experience makes up for it surely hahah 14:45 Ryan Trahan reference? XD
hahaha nice catch at 14:45, yup :D I'm pretty sure this sentence is stuck in my head forever since his penny series days. Thank you for the good words, and yeah yt, get your shit together lmao (pls). The hotel is definitely not cheap, but most of the reviews you'll find online also say that it's 100% worth the price, man what an experience it was. Anyways thanks for your support and idc how many videos it takes, we'll get on the yt algorithm wave one day! :D
650€ for two night at a hotel, theme park tickets for 3 days, 3 dinners and 2 breakfasts. 200€ for rooms 200€ for tickets 60€ for dinner 40€ for breakfast Comes out to 500€ total. Then you add the fast passes, proximity to the park and the ability to explore the area after park closing, and it really isn't that expensive. Only a small premium overall.
Amazing video! The whole hearing coasters and screaming would be soothing… it reminds me there is excitement in the universe. Awesome video! It’s giving me some inspiration for planet coaster. 🎉❤
I grew up near this theme park and can attest that other parks will lure you in with 2-3 attractions but never with the feeling you get when you look at the park without the rides. It's mystical because people made an effort. Something I'm only realizing now that I'm an adult.
Charles Lindbergh hotel is fantastic. Spent a night in there last October on a theme park tour across Germany and the Netherlands. The place has amazing theming and the lighting in winter is awesome. Taron and Fly are the big draw but there are plenty of rides for all to enjoy. Certainly well worth a visit. Managed to squeeze in Europa Park, Tripsdrill, Phantasialand, Movie park, Toverland and De Efteling in week. Missed out on Walibi due to traffic but a mega trip. It's a hard life being a theme park development engineer and having to test so many rides. lol.
how the heck did you manage to do so many theme parks in a week??? hahaha. I did Energylandia, Efteling, Phantasialand and Europapark in 2 weeks and I was DEAD after just one park 💀 also, can I have your job, hehe
@@reio_riisna We squeezed movie park and Tripsdrill into one day. I know a few guys at Europapark for the "Engineers backstage pass" so we got on most rides in one day. In our team, we are all ride guys, so we are almost immune to G forces but to be honest, we were all pretty broken after a week. The bad thing is we will go on some rides 5 or 6 times in a row. I went front row, back row and middle on Fly and Taron. We went in October thinking it will be quiet, but the weather was amazing, so most parks were busy. Most of the time the job is very difficult, bringing amazing, safe attractions to life. But the rewards are bringing Joy and happiness to millions of people, even if the joy is for a short period of time, and that is priceless.
I was there a few times as a child and only have good memories about it. Still looks amazing in this video. Btw, I was surprised to see that you have "only" 5k subscribers, the quality seems more like a 500k channel. Keep it up!
I you loved Phantasialand, you just have to visit Europa-Park in Rust, Germany for at least two days! It's an mindblowing and much larger park. There's always a debate wether Phantasialand or Europa-Park is the "best" park in Germany.
What debate? If it comes to adrenaline rush, than sure: Europa Park will beat Phantasialand with all those massive rides. But if it comes to themes and immersion Phantasialand just beats any other amusement park in existence to-date! Besides: Though lacking the height and adrenaline of other park's rides, Phantasialand got some of the longest going rides I know of.
@@bjornm.1121 Ithink Europa Park mainly points with amounts of attraction. Nothing in their compares to Taron or F.L.Y. or even Chiapas honestly. (Maybe the new coaster didnt have the honor of driving it yet)
I loved phantasialand as a kid. The sad part is, the park cannot expand so whenever they want to add new rides, they have to tear down other ones. My favorite ride was replaced with a VR one (temple of the night hawk)
Sending love from the Westerwald in germany! Thank you for making this video, i loved going to the Phantasialand as a child! I can't find the time for it right now but i am Holding onto the memories and this video reminded me of so many things! Edit: the reason why many people will look at you in a weird manner is because nobody in germany usually records themselves in public lmao
i always feel so lucky to live so close to this themepark - it always feels like a whole new world, genuinely. there's more than enough to experience even if you're afraid of rollercoasters.
It should be mentioned that this particular hotel is just one of three hotels in the park. AND this particular hotel basically is a special “explorers experience” you booked. That’s why the cabins look like they do. The other hotels are Matamba (African themed) and Ling Bao (Asian theming). They have bigger more regular rooms.
Seeing Phantasia Land again was such a nostalgia trip I went there once when I was like 8 years old and never had the oppertunity to visit again, because it got really expensive It's crazy to hear that you can walk through the entire park in seven minutes, I swear it felt like an entire city when I was there
Living a 30 minute drive away from it I'd say I've been going there since my childhood for 1-2 time a year. Prices have almost tripped (like 25 when I was a child to over 60 euros now, so I only use the reduced price winter tickets for 20-30). I've however never been inside any of the hotels, never seen the interior shots you show. It's so amazing and well thought out. Totally immersive experience. Love it
This video hits the ground running and just bombards you with interesting tidbits until 28 seconds in where it slows down slightly. It's a good example of how to achieve good viewer retention and entice viewers to stay for the long ride (no pun intended)
That's my childhood park! I haven't been there in ages, but when I was young we were there pretty much every year. They still had the old Western themed area when I was there last. But I am super glad you liked your stay there. It is awesome to see a small park, not owned by some big franchise or media mogul getting the love it deserves for the excellent job they do in terms of theming and using the small space available to its full potential! I also think the hotel seems to be worth it, even though it is pretty expensive it seems to be a step above what other parks offer at the moment in terms of Immersion and stuff that is included.
I went there in the 80s as a kid, looks nothing like back then anymore of course and all I remember is my Dad being really mad because they went to the parking lot and stuck "Phantasialand" stickers on every car while we were at the park. And he despised any stickers at his car. 😂
9:55 not 100% sure but I think Tatar is raw beef A similar thing Germans love to eat for breakfast is mett also raw pork. Yeah people in Germany love raw meat and it's strictly controlled to ensure that it can't poison anyone
I live relatively close to the park. It only takes us like 1 1/2 hours to get there by car, so my family usually visits one or two times per year ever since I've been 12. I know the entire park like the back of my hand I've only ever stayed overnight there once tho(since we can get there so quickly it was never a necessity I guess) when my grandparents invited the entire family on a trip there. We stayed in another one of the hotels tho
As a coaster enthusiast this park is world renowned for this theming. Incredible looking park. F.L.Y looks insane. Beautiful theming. Happy you enjoyed.
Phantasialand being very compact is one of it's best features. They managed to put an insane amount of stuff into a pretty small area without it feeling cramped. No matter where you are in the park you can get to any other part of the park in 10 minutes, which is incredible in combination with being able to check the queue times of rides online.
Super cool and well done video! Stayed there recently, I was in room C-56 I believe. For me, it's the best theme park I've ever been to. Even beats out Europa-Park, both in terms of rides and theming and I can't wait to get back there in the winter. Looking forward to more content! :)
This brought back so many memories of my visit last year. I didn't stay at Charles Lindbergh but at Hotel Matamba instead, which was pretty awesome too, but much less themed & less expensive than this one. But watching this makes me want to plan another visit to Phantasialand, & when I do I'd be sure to stay at Charles Lindbergh. Looks so cool!
I really love going to the park in winter cause then they are christmas lights on everywhere once it's dark, you can go ice skating and there are fireworks in the evening :> it's quite magical!
Phantasialand is my childhood. I live only an hour away from Brühl, so I've been there a lot. I love it there. It's cool to see a place in a video where you've been several times.
Hey! Nice video! I live about a 20 minute car ride away from Phantasialand and I love this park. It's my childhood and my everything haha I've been there many times in my life and actually during the last 3 years I even sometimes worked there every now and then as a "outside helper", meaning I would get there via another company, I go to the entrance and then they tell me where I will be working on that day. (depending on where they are short in workers on that day) By now I have pretty much worked at every single restaurant or snack area where you can buy any kind of food throughout the park. I enjoy working there (not sure about full time, but once in a while is great) because I just love being there and walking through the park at night when the day is over. Plus, the coworkers are always super nice. But also as a guest I just love everything there. Taron is my favourite roller coaster, but on the other side "Colorado" reminds me most of my childhood. (It'll forever be THE Phantasialand roller coaster to me, plus it's fun to know that Michael Jackson rode it once) I love pretty much any attraction that they have, especially because they put so much detail into the whole design. You really always feel immersed in some fantasy world. They have to get extra creative there because unlike many other amusement parks they cant just buy more land and expand as there is a village located right next to it on the one side and on the other side there are several lakes and forests that are protected environmental areas. So, they need replace old rollercoasters with new ones and use the space wisely. I think they mostly do a great job. Good to see you had a great time there. Ofcourse I dont know the hotels from the inside as I live nearby and never had to stay there overnight. Have a nice day!
Very great video! Thanks so much for that! Did you know that Charles Lindbergh is the name of the Person that first flew over the atlantic ocean from Europe to the America? He flew in May 1927 and because of this he is one of the most known figures of aviation history. Thats why they named the hotel after him I guess.
8:40 everyone is staring at you because 1. It are germans, they stare and 2. It is not very common to hear someone speak English and also walk around with a camera haha
Other than the high daily admission fees, Phantasialand hit the family sweet spot for decades. There is something in there for everyone. Rides for children, juveniles, and grown-ups alike. Some will leave you not being able to walk straight or seeing double for a few moments. Food from fries, snacks, all the way to dining with style or dinner shows (Phantasia in the Winter), the Chinese Restaurant even has a Michelin Star, at least that was the case when I was there the last time. Unfortunately, they scrapped their birthday special, which I used 6 or 7 times: regardless of your age, if you could prove that it's your birthday, entry was free. Same for groups of people from retirement homes and people with special needs, which needed advanced booking, but that was all. I still love this place, even though I haven't been in years.
What a great video, I have not been in Phantasialand for quite some time, so I do not know the new coasters. Another great German themepark would be the "Europa-Park" in Rust if you are still feeling the itch.
Great video! Just one thing: you correctly said that there are 6 areas, but then you mentioned 7. 😉 In fact, Rookburgh is part of Old Berlin, just like Klugheim is part of Mystery. Glad you had a great experience in my home park. 🤗

i stayed on some hotel at a theme park before, same with extra fast passes to cut the line short, and the advantage of staying the night for me and my party was that we could quickly stand in the normal line for the attraction we really wanted to ride early on and only had to wait like 3 minutes in line. a small yet useful advantage we used. :D

Germany is relatively far north (51°N near Cologne), i.e. closer to the North Pole than the equator. Summer in the northern hemisphere means that there is daylight for up to 18 hours, so when the sun is at its highest point in the northern hemisphere in June, it is not really dark until around 10.30 pm. For our friends in Scandinavia, this means that there is no night at this time. If you live closer to the equator, there are no long evenings with daylight. On the other hand, our summer is not as warm and long as yours.
I am so happy you enjoyed your stay there! I also love that piece of magic a loooot. I feel you. I grew up with visiting Phantasialand, it changed so often during the time. I am 36 now and every time I visit Phantasialand there is something new to discover. You can watch the history and the drastic changes in a lot of videos here. I wonder what is next to pop up and enchant the people.
the hotel room, screaming people, walking like a boss in evening and the vip pass looks well worth it xD.
yupp, I've heard many people say that it's even pretty cheap compared to what other theme parks are charging for similiar hotel packages
Special?
If you plan on going for a trip there I recommand staying in Cologne or somewhere close for much less and then take some sightseeing on the side too! ;)

One forgets the magic a themepark such as Phantasialand has when you live literally next to it. Videos like this remind me of it. Thank you!
If you want to walk legally through a park at night, I can really recommend the Slagharen park in the Netherlands. As a person sleeping on the campsite or in the vacation apartments, you can walk through the entire park at night. It really is a unique experience.
And if you want to do it illegally. Right behind the big tower at Phantasialand the wall is pretty easy to climb. Just saying 🙈
Btw, a little information for "Mystery Castle" and "Talocan". Both attractions have set programs which are used to run those. If you want the better experience from both, go there either really early, so quite after the opening of the park, or really late, so quite before the closing of the park, or better said of the attractions. During those times they tend to run the longer and more intense program than during the "normal" day
You the most humble and underrated guy I've watched, take a subscription
Thank you so much for the kind words and welcome!
Everything about that experience is both superb and feels surreal.
It really does make you forget the outside world completely and it feels very strange once you check-out of the hotel and leave and see the "real world" again.
100% agree with you
Props to sparing the other guests the "seated next to an influencer" experience. If only everybody filming for social media was respectful like that. :)
Go there when its dark in winter. Its a way cooler expierience.
I like that idea
I was there in Winter. Never ever again. The newer roller coasters are all very sensitive, especially in cold temperatures. I stood in line for over two hours at Taron because it was constantly broken. At -2 degrees Celsius... FLY also had constant problems and you couldn't ride many things or had to wait forever. I had better experiences in the summer.
@@reio_riisnawinter dream is crazy good you need to go there. The shows are very good aswell.
Seeing you enjoing the theme park i basicly spent some of the best childhood memories with, even calling it the best park brings me so much pride
I live really close to the park so when i was in school my mom and i visited the park at least twice a year in summer and winter and it was always a blast
Its always sad to see some of my childhood place being gone like western town, because they changed it up over the years, but i enjoyed alot that you enjoyed it alot.
It's like you're in another world
But you should also check out the other 2 themed hotels, they're neat, too
Yes! I've heard many people say the prices are actually quite cheap when compared to other theme parks that offer similiar hotel packages. But it is so worth it in either case!
The other 2 hotels seem great as well yep, I was thinking of going again during the Winterevents and staying in one of these

Then the place burned down.( I SWEAR IT WASN'T ME!)
After that I pretty much forgot about Phantasialand for a long time.

It's really awesome to ride Taron in the dark.

Phantasialand is definitely one of the best Themeparks, we have in Germany - it's not exactly my Number One, but at the top-3! :D
I'll never forget, my wife, two of our friends and me went to Phantasialand - we chose a random day in the middle of the week.
Hope to see you someday in Phantasialand!

Its one of the best parks in germany but its unfortunatly limitit by space because of an Autobahn on one side, a main street on another and natur reserves around it. so if they wanna build something new they have to get rid of one or more attractions

What debate? If it comes to adrenaline rush, than sure: Europa Park will beat Phantasialand with all those massive rides. But if it comes to themes and immersion Phantasialand just beats any other amusement park in existence to-date! I did book like 4 weeks in advance, so no luck there with the pricing :D maybe next time I should try booking 6 months in advance or so
i always feel so lucky to live so close to this themepark - it always feels like a whole new world, genuinely. there's more than enough to experience even if you're afraid of rollercoasters.
Seeing Phantasia Land again was such a nostalgia trip
I went there once when I was like 8 years old and never had the oppertunity to visit again, because it got really expensive
It's crazy to hear that you can walk through the entire park in seven minutes, I swear it felt like an entire city when I was there
Living a 30 minute drive away from it I'd say I've been going there since my childhood for 1-2 time a year.
ah childhood memories, I have them as well although it was the 90s - I'm wondering if they still use those ugly stickers
9:55 not 100% sure but I think Tatar is raw beef
A similar thing Germans love to eat for breakfast is mett also raw pork. Yeah people in Germany love raw meat and it's strictly controlled to ensure that it can't poison anyone
I live relatively close to the park. It only takes us like 1 1/2 hours to get there by car, so my family usually visits one or two times per year ever since I've been 12. I know the entire park like the back of my hand
I've only ever stayed overnight there once tho(since we can get there so quickly it was never a necessity I guess) when my grandparents invited the entire family on a trip there. We stayed in another one of the hotels tho

I have so many fond memories of visiting phantasialand as a kid.
I absolutely should go again at some point.
It's my childhood and my everything haha
I've been there many times in my life and actually during the last 3 years I even sometimes worked there every now and then as a "outside helper", meaning I would get there via another company, I go to the entrance and then they tell me where I will be working on that day.
Great Video Bro Idk how it doesnt have at least 500k views

Just one thing: you correctly said that there are 6 areas, but then you mentioned 7. 😉
In fact, Rookburgh is part of Old Berlin, just like Klugheim is part of Mystery.
Glad you had a great experience in my home park. 🤗
Thanks for that!
very good video!! i have always loved theme parks and i currently have the honour of commisioning epic universe but when this project is done i think phantasialand is now one of the parks at the top of my list to go to 🎉 i hope to see more content
thank you so much!! Phantasialand is a must and once you're there, might as well tick off Europapark too :D
Really nice quality my man, keep it up
thanks dude, will do 🫡
Haven't been here in a while. Well, it's a lot harder when you have to pay for the trip, and for access, on your own.
Tatar is Raw Beef with spices
i stayed on some hotel at a theme park before, same with extra fast passes to cut the line short, and the advantage of staying the night for me and my party was that we could quickly stand in the normal line for the attraction we really wanted to ride early on and only had to wait like 3 minutes in line. a small yet useful advantage we used. :D
11:44 THAT'S 9PM IN GERMANY??? Here by 6pm is already almost pitch-black
in Summer yes. In Winter times its dark here too.
@@minengrafI want to add to that that this is more than "in winter it's dark" when we say that we mean it. Literally sunrise 7 am sunset 3pm. It's horrible and I get seasonal. Depression every year. It's ALWAYS dark cold wet and windy😢
Glad you enjoyed my childhood Park 😍
One day... I'm gonna sleep there as well!
This is one of the best videos i have seen in a long time how do you not have more likes and followers
Thanks! We’ll get there 😌
Phantasialand is a freaking nightmare for, even slightly, disabled people. If you are dependent on a wheelchair, do yourself a favor and don't go.
well that's a bummer :(
Yeah....for sure. Do NOT go if you are in a wheelchair!
@@Mephisto931 thank you
skill issue honestly this is still the best themepark on earth
@@ItsAmaliaB no it's not. Europapark 10 times better. And half the rides you can't enter if you are disabled. So no, no skill issue.
I am so happy you enjoyed your stay there! I also love that piece of magic a loooot. I also love all the beers and tastings, but also the conversations with the bar keeper aka beer somelier in the bar 1919. We yearly spend minimum a night and two days there, but visit the park a few more times and stay in other hotels around the park. 🙂nice video
I've been there! Went in 2009, but didn't stay overnight. Was my first major theme park visit, great memories.
Last year i was two rooms before yours with my son. We loved it, the thema, the restaurant, the Service. it was awesome.
Sounds like you had a wonderful time there, that's good to hear!
I love the whole steampunk cramped futuristic style.
Discoveryland at Disneyland Paris is like that with Jules Verne, HG wells theming when I worked there but it’s starting to get more and more Star Wars themed
Pretty much enjoied your VLOG and also love staying in this hotel myself. I did so already many many times.
I'm curious about the full theme park video you mentionned.
*This one is nicely done - Keep it up!*
Thank you so much for the good words, I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it! And yeah I've just started working on the video where I talk more about the overall park, but also 3 other theme parks I visited during my EU trip. Will be out in 2 weeks or so :)
damn, that new area looks epic. I gotta visit the park again at some point...
