Cilbir is one of my all-time favorite egg dishes! I love it with lots of minced garlic in the yogurt. Sometimes when I'm lazy and don't feel like waiting for water to boil, I will "poach" the eggs in oil in a pan over low heat, spooning the hot oil over the eggs to cook them evenly. After the eggs are done, I will use the same oil to make the pepper sauce. Thank you for another wonderful recipe!

June 12, 2021 Hi. This is my first time finding your channel. Also, my first time watching someone perpetrate any Turkish dish. I'm not normally a fan of yogurt, but this looks so good I'm going to try it. I subscribed and shared tonight. Thank you!
I had never had this dish and saw it for the first time a few days ago on YT. A few searches led to your recipe, and I made it this morning. What a beautiful, tasty and easy dish. Thank you for sharing it. This meal really warmed our hearts, as the temperature is -23C in Montreal this morning. Of course, I subscribed to your very nice channel.
I love this dish so much! I’m sharing with all my friends. Thank you for making us. I’m so hungry now but it’s bedtime and I will have to wait till tomorrow to eat.
Yum yum yum! This looks like such a simple recipe that almost anyone can make anywhere in the world - and fairly cheap in most countries too! I cannot wait to try, Ayşenur! Love from the southern US! 🇺🇸🇹🇷 I like the new filming style too - it lets us see you cooking almost as if we’re all standing with you in your kitchen. 😌
I absolutely love dishes from other countries...that is how I learn! Looks divine...will try very soon and let you know my results. Thank You from the old man in NC.
That's so amazing. I'm expert in making menemen and from now on I'll make cilbir for breakfast. And I got amazing feedback from my family for menemen. I hope they will like this too.!
Everything you make looks so easy and so delicious I can't wait to try but I had surgery on my arm so when I get better I will definitely try these recipes thank you for sharing
Thank you for such a tasty recipe. Basically it is normally said that eating eggs and yogurt together is not good for the gut. But you proved it wrong.

Thank you so much for sharing, loved your video. I have come across this recipe some time ago and it hás become one of my egg favourites. I have only tried it with paprika, I am going to try and find the spices mentioned here and add the mint (normally I use parsley, because it is what I have at hand). Thank you ☀️
This looks like something I would love. I have never heard of the spice before, but I will find it somewhere, for sure, because I am eager to try this. Thank you so much for the clear instructions.
I love watching your videos. You have a beautiful, generous, kind spirit that shines through. I just wanted to say that I also appreciate when you give some of the history of the dish. It lends to the imagination of all the people over centuries who have enjoyed that recipe. So, thank you very much, and wish you and everyone very well!

Oh, Aysenur, I am travelling on this amazing food travel for some time already. You are a great guide. I did try quite a lot of your amazing (and wonderfully presented recipes - carniarîc being my all time favorite) recipes (some of them were already adopted by the Romanian old cuisine since… forever!). Hey when do we have to put the garlic, directly on the yoghurt or in the butter?
@@ilhamparkar1762 On the yoghurt
So do we cook the garlic a little or just chop and add in yogurt directly?

The word "yogurt" itself is Turkish !
Greek yogourt is thicker. That is the differences.
We have yogurt in India as well since ancient time and Ayran also which is called buttermilk...its is part of our staple indian diet

Judging by the ingredients you add ,it sounds like it would be very delicious.

Very late and a bit presumptuous-- first crush the Garlic clove with salt and then add the yoghurt makes a world of difference to the taste.
