Up till today 3/5/2016 I have not seen a better review of the bmw x3 on youtube than Autoportal's, and this is the second time I've watched the video. I have looked at a number of vids on youtube that did not deliver proper info! some of which are still stuck in 2013 and 2014, others in bad need of updating and still others that just show off the car with horrible music in the back ground and no one explaining what this vehicle is about. The only other video I saw on this particular vehicle that gave proper info and did a fine job at that was Car Confections, not even KBB have a current video or a video that is worth looking at when it comes to the bmw x3 and they are one of the heavy hitters in the world of vehicles! So to my HATERS, leave Autoportal alone they have done a very good job on this review of the bmw x3. (Pay no attention to the HATERS.) oh and by the way I just subscribed!

Love the vehicle and intend getting one before the end of the year. They say it has a lot of mechanical issues though; it spends more time in the workshop than on the road. How true is that?
I previously owned the 2.0 version for around 5 years and did around 90 000 km with it (on practically every surface: highway, winding country roads, off road, etc.) and i just recently got the 35d and took it on a road trip through france. I never had to take it to the garage (apart from the usual checkups and a bent bumper). It's a very solid and well made car (also very practical) from my experience owning it.
Which model do you think on buying?
Nothing fancy, I think I'll go for the xDrive320d. The fuel consumption must be reasonable.

+tek kooi ooi Well, you and Roar Fondse must be from India too. All I could understand from the video was "gaba gaba gaba, gaba gaba gaba BMW X3..." because of the very heavy accent. If you were also a native English speaker, you would have understood that my comment was a sarcasm and I wasn't asking them to literally create another video in English. Google what "sarcasm" means and add it to your English vocabulary list of probably 12 words.
