- Knafs Co Lander : How Does it Compare to Other EDC Knives? This is the third design from Ben Peterson and the most affordable one yet. This is also Ben's first design done under his brand Knafs. He is offering a knife with an easy customizations feature that makes swapping scales a breeze. We take a close look at the overall design and also test out the Performance. One important thing to note is that Ben has shared the CAD files for the scales to make it that much easier to customize it, super cool to see!
I wanna get one. It’s basic but it’s not trying to be something it’s not. It’s legit a practical EDC for 99% of us weather we can admit it or not.
His rule on being able to tip of index finger the tip of blade works well on this one too. The scale thing is neat, I like how he even nested the liners. I figured it was just the two screws holing them but nope, lip runs the entire circumference so they sit true.
It’s well thought out and wel made and a newb can mod them.. for around $50 what’s not to like?

I've been carrying mine everyday since I got it. I got the full blacked out one. One of the best EDC blades out there right now.
Bought the blue for myself and the black one for my wife when they were released. It's not her favorite knife, but I've seen her carrying it more than the one she calls her favorite, lol.
The quick change scales are a brilliant idea, that TRM has been doing for years!

I find myself carrying this knife daily over every other knife I own. Size, weight, blade shape, action, feel in hand are just great.
All parts are replaceable and available on the Knafs site. Hot swappable scales and also open source so you can print your own. Yeah it's made in China but it's supporting an American dream. Don't make me look at your flashlight, shoes, clothes, work boots, or what you drive for a living. Put the made in China fruit phone down you haters that haven't even used the knife.🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️

I like the knife and where what he is doing! It’s just to small for me hopefully he does the same thing but bigger, I would have to change out the scales as well
I’d love for this one to be made in America for $60. Other than that, I’m just not interested in yet another G10/D2 liner lock from China. Great video though!
I have to agree. I like the idea, and design, and I really like Ben but China’s abuse of its citizens and the rest of the world really turns me off.

Personally I'm looking forward to the big banter, it's not quite as big as I'd like, but close enough for me to try one! I totally understand that laws and preference put me outside the normal range but I wish there were more 3.75-4.5" options. Anyone got any recommendations?

I feel like a G10/D2 at twice the price sounds like the opposite.
Quality looks like it is just a little above the Walmart knives that are about 5 dollars.

Yeah I personally don’t think 60 bucks is much, it’s very light, it works well, and I can get space cat scales, or whatever scales I want. I think this knife certainly isn’t for everyone, but neither is a sebenza. I carry a chaparral all the time, with titanium scales, because I like it. I think the geometry of this knife and that I believe Qsp is making it, along with the scales being cheap to swap is nice. D2 is becoming cheaper yes, can you get a better knife for the money, maybe that depends on what you like. A lot of folks really like this and the banter, so it’s great to those folks.
I was underwhelmed with the one I got. Quality wasn’t that great. Perfect size though. The only thing that might save it is some interesting after market scales but haven’t seen any so far.
Love the design but the size it too small (like the R2D2)
Boring designs and D2. I'll pass. I like the CJRB Pyrite better, but not really into small knives. Deka is the smallest I have that fits.

There is nothing about this knife that is worth ANY attention. Punch face is relying COMPLETELY on marketing to sell this G10 D2 knife. Quick release scales are stupid. Your channel on the other hand is amazing! Even a video on a shite knife is somehow enjoyable!!!!
You basically just described 85 percent of all knives being released.
