Duuuuuuuuuuude. I needed you. I lost my job a couple of months ago, and all this time I've been sitting at home, eating up the money I have left, and gradually getting burnt out from hundreds of interviews that failed, and I've been going deeper and deeper into myself... Dreams about the game went not only to the second plan - to the two hundred and second. All I was thinking about was how to find a job and how not to lose my life. Fortunately, I was able to find a job, but there was no more energy left for game development - after one and a half hundred interviews I was so exhausted that I had enough energy after work only to crawl to bed. Thanks to you, I got a furious burst of inspiration! Thank you so much! You didn't just save me from burnout. You saved me from self-destruction. You're a great guy! Don't you ever stop! Keep gaining experience. And I'm gonna keep gaining experience, and I'm gonna keep doing my game. Once again, a big bow at your feet, and a HUGE thank you for the motivation.
@@MrPyCCkuu1 I am so glad this video reached and helped you the way it did. With enough dedication and strenght, everything is possible. You can do it and I wish you the best of luck. Let me know how it goes and thank you so much for your comment. Things like this also keep me going ❤️
congrats on release! that's a huge milestone, i've been on a bit of a game dev hiatus (burnout) and this is making me want to dip my toes back into it hahaha
Inspirational. Currently I am working on 3-4 very small projects in Godot 4.3 and have some ideas where to go with them and using multiple sources of helps including in engine docs, chatgpt, tutorials on youtube. Not sure how it will turns out but hopefully in a good state I can also release something. For me the worrysome part is not the game making itself, but the whole process to add to stores, sell, how you tax after and all the paperwork which necessarily comes with this. I am not prepared at all for that part but a video about that part of game making would be handy. Also, keep up the good work and work on your games!
Hey man! Glad you like the video. I am also not very sure with all the paperwork, but I am figuring it out. If I have more experience, I will make a video about it. If you want some company while working. You could consider joining my dc :)
Good work on pushing through! I think it’s what I need is just to get one game uploaded. Been working on projects for years and just get burnt out with them and bored. I left it for a few years and have only come back to it now. Just started the first project I intend to finish and release within a few months. Trying to keep it simple is what’s been my biggest challenge
I feel myself untalented and I'm doing my game game two years... I still think I don't get enough experience and I don't want to release game in steam. 8 months are not enough to get decent experience, so just keep your way. Good job!
I am interested in your opinion on what exactly an asset flip is. Because I definitly used assets yeah, but I also made a lot myself and the result is a very fun and at the same time scary game. So at what point does a game become an asset flip?
Awesome video man. I can do it too, I suppose. But... What if I want to achieve more than 9 steam reviews on Steam though? Like you know, you have that feeling of "I want to do more, than simply 'doing it' " - to transcend instead of simply settling on making a game, since, as you have shown yourself. Everyone can do it. Everyone can make a game nowadays with simple determination. But it is very different from actually making a good game, that people will play and will get like 200 positive reviews, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000 or maybe even 20k.
Yeah you are absolutly right man. But everybody has to start somewhere right? So thats what I am doing right now. Starting. I definitly have more in mind, you are absolutly right. Lets see where I am at in a few years. Cheers man :)
Best things about this video The German accent The epic dedication The good game But here I am thinking about how I m gna make an epic triple A game…in few months 🥲🥲
Congrats on your release! I started working on my first FPS a few months ago, and I can say that this kind of attitude is absolutely effective
@@RetroShineGaming yeah it is. Good luck with your project and always keep going :)

I made a shit game in one month that is not interesting to play. And you can too!
I really dont know if I should be offended by this or not 😂
@@NitratEntertainment ahaha. no, I'm talking about myself😝
