I’m following the trial very very closely. But, I’m a Brit, so I don’t count. But, I’m more informed than at least 90% of Americans.
Just compare .... in the UK, you toss a PM out of office for lying to voters and government. In the US a serial lying ex-president with over 30K documented lies and who lies dozens of times every day is running or president and supported by millions o brain dead MAGA morons and a totally corrupt and lying group of elected republican representatives.

McKay Coppins is right that the so-called appeal of Dump as a "businessman" doesn't seem to be the sentiment of his hardcore supporters. They are more hooked on his personality than anything, including business. Dump as a "businessman" has been pushed by mainstream media for more than eight years, and has been feeding the idea that the majority of the public feels the same way.
It's called "paying the dozens". It's a dangerous tribal game that usually involves a person disparaging another person's relative, usually an immediate family member. It's tribal and petty, but is meant to hurt, and in most cases it does. It's covered up with laughter until somebody gets physically hurt. Leads to violence.

People should always consider the candidates. While registered with one party, I view the candidates and read their positions. Civics is not studied, or taught apparently any longer. Have a large (not XL or XXL) jumpsuit and during the lunch break put him in for a fitting...then let him put his own suit and tie on...NO VALET...and return to th afternoon session. That might get the required violation the court can act on!
In relation to his orange jumpsuit, that will eventually not match his skin tan if kept incarcerated, stuff him in a government SCIF. No KFC or Diet Coke. Definitely no Taco Bell due to no man diapers!!
