Thanks again WM. Great series. There couldn't have been too many males left in Sgt. Kirton's family. Unbelievable sacrifice from one family.

Very much so. When I saw that the family line was cut off by the war, it was certainly something else and I felt it deserved including. His isn't the only one like that. I'm finishing up the script for 11 August and of the 25 biographies I'm writing, there are at least two more like that, and I'm not yet done.

You've really found your groove in your announcing. Clear and articulate. Good work.

On top of that, UA-cam decided not to mess with my uploads. Fingers crossed that continues!

It just occurred to me that all the RAF losses reported in London Calling are from Fighter Command. What about Bomber Command?

The Battle of Britain chronologies and memorials include those who were involved in exactly that: the Battle of Britain. Around this time there were plenty of raids in the Rhine, the North Sea Coast, and the occupied Low Countries, but they aren't really considered a part of the Battle of Britain proper. I did include a few from Bomber Command, Coastal Command, and some training units in one episode at the beginning to give a nod to them, but it's a little outside the scope here. Definitely worth a revisit in the future though!

@@TheWarbirdMistress I suspected that was the case. It was only a passing thought. Thank you for the explanation.
