Gator Trax Rescue Roll

Living in South Louisiana, we've seen our fair share of shallow water rescue operations. One of the biggest hurdles is getting boats down flooded streets to rescue people that can't get out. The boat will float until you reach a high and dry hill or high spot in the road. You only need to get the boat 20, 40, maybe 100 yards over the high spot, then the water gets deep again. This is where most boats stop. But the Hammond Fire Department didn't want to stop there. Experiencing that same dilemma many times, they sought a way around...or over it.
