We must, though, remember that war is part of the human condition, and in an attempt to maintain a society, the members of that society, or culture if you like, will do anything to maintain their way of life. The calls to war by those too old to take part will influence the young men towards glory and battle. Alas, 'tis only the old men who know the truth.
