Smoked Bacon Bomb Explosion Full Recipe | Fire Foodz

- In today's video, I made Bacon Bomb on the smoker and it was delicious and an absolute hit.
Full Recipe:
Ingredients:
- Jalapeños
- 1/2 Cup cream Cheese
- 1 Cup blended shredded cheese
- 2 Pounds ground meat
- Bacon strips
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Salt
- Black pepper
- BBQ rub
- BBQ sauce
First cut the jalapenos into small pieces and take out the stem and the seeds. In a bowl add the peppers, cream cheese, and shredded cheese. Then using a fork mix everything well. Now transfer the cheese and jalapeño mixture on top of saran wrap and try to form it into a log then roll it tight and place it in the fridge for 30 mins.
In a bowl add 2 pounds of ground meat, then season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and black pepper. Now place the saran wrap and place the ground meat on top and flatten the meat to form an even square. Then put the cheese log in the middle and roll the meat using the saran wrap to form a nice roll. Then place it in the fridge for 1 hour.
Lay strips of bacon side-by-side vertically. Pull back every other strip of bacon from the top. Place a bacon strip horizontally across the vertical strips. Repeat to interlace all bacon strips together until it forms a square of bacon strips weaved together like a basket. Then place the meat on top and try to roll the bacon around it to cover it just like this. The final step is to add some BBQ rub on top and we are ready to put it in the smoker.
Set the smoker to 275 degrees and I will be using hickory and apple wood throughout the cook. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F, or for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Brush with BBQ sauce in the last 15 minutes of cooking to give a nice shiny look. Remove from the smoker and let it rest for 10 mins and it is ready. All that is left is to cut it open and enjoy this delicious bacon treat.

You could try Turkey, smoked salmon/salmon skin (experiment you’ll find what you like) while not as salty or fatty you could add a little more fat into the mince.

You can serve it as it is, On buns or even with a side of Mac and cheese. Whatever works for you 👌

Yes, and you can always cook on a higher temp to get it more crispy, but make sure to follow the internal temp of the meat. Hope that helps 👍
