3:09 that car HAVE an lb kit, however, hot wheels was sort of hiding that fact and they were not putting an lb logo on the car, to this day when there finally is a lb rx3 in a proper livery. Same thing with a 240z, that car have a Pandem wide body kit, not a new casting and hot wheels was also kind of hiding that fact for people not much into tuning, now you have that greddy diorama with a 240z in a pandem livery, its cool! In general i love when hw puts tuning brands on cars, new toyota starlet in work wheels livery is pretty sick!
The last couple mainline '73 Honda Civic Customs have had very nice detailed fronts & backs tampo'd and they use the "glass" for the fog lights to let in - in the lime green versions case a blue light show thru; better than this foo foo one here that paints over the fogs. diggin' the cherry blossom graphics diggin' your friggin' set, too - sneaked in a little weather drama, very nice. 👀
Funny thing. I’m traveling and forgot my turntable. So I used the sneak turntable shots from older vids. Those come from Mattel and are always beat up a bit. Good to have an archive.
Beautiful set,but Hotwheels really needs to improve its quality control,the Civic has a paintchip in the frontspoiler,the Z and the Corolla have a paintchip in the rearspoiler and the Mazda has a tampo error on the left front fender,4 out of 5 are bad,time to fire the QC guy.
Man, the cheap inkjet look is getting worse on these. I realize a lot of factors go into hitting the price point, but the math ain't mathin' on a metal chassis being the reason they use these poor-quality wraps to hit $6.50 when Majorette has full tampo graphics and suspension on a $3 car. Lionel does $5 cars with plastic chassis. Most waves get nice, sharp, full color/detail wraps that look great. On the occasions when the wraps look like HW Premiums, people lose their minds, to the point where a popular car with a blurry wrap will sometimes get a later re-release with a fixed graphic. It's weird that the standards for HW seems to be lower. I understand it's complex, but it's a bummer when dollar mainlines often have nicer-looking graphics than the fancy stuff.
Wish Rory the Cat and Shade the Tuxedo Cat likes the Japanese Culture Cars, same as Rory's S15 Silvia Spec-R: The Claw Attack Vehicle. Then, a Shade the Tuxedo Cat's Subaru BRZ which the 2 Female Cats from PPCP that 2 Female Cats like the JDM Sports Cars. Rory's Retro Sports Car and Shade the Tuxedo Cat's Modern Sports Car. They will enjoy their Trip to Tokyo City same as the Speed Racers City in England of the UK. I wish I like the Cars. So amazing, Lamley Group.
