There are some professions in Kenya where we simply don't have enough good people doing it. Painting cars is certainly one of them, as is plumbing and furniture making. Most of the chaps in these professions really struggle so it is always good to see some good people.
I think it would be good for you to allow the guys use some swahili to express themselves better and also i feel pure English is limiting the knowledge they can pass.....Then just put captions

That's a decent paint job for 8-year-old cars, but a factory paint is different. Just check on UA-cam how cars are painted at the factory, being dipped into vats of paint, and finished off with robotic arms with pinpoint precision.
I had a poor paint job for a vehicle I wanted to sell and it cost me so much coz I sold the vehicle after almost one and half years at a very low price just to let it go. Most buyers see the outside as opposed to the inside.
Though i trust Ndume's endorsement...Il have to see to believe....ama theory and practical zinaingiana... I think I saw that orange surface thing on the Mokorino customized Defender...it should be brought here😅
If you look deeper, this is just another local paint shop garage, the difference is, it's in a go down, the fundis have branded overrals and the owner speaks English. How do u paint a car with windows, lights and windscreen on? How do you paint a Mercedes with the door handles on? How do guys work on chassis?
There's a coat they add on top of clear to prevent the vehicle from sun and harsh weather conditions. Do they do it? It's called Diamond cut something....😮
I hear you but lets be real... a majority of middle class car owners can't afford a 150k paint job however beautiful the results are.. That is a salary for atleast two months... This is the reason why this open garage paint jobs are thriving. My experience is once you get a good fundi who charges an affordable price, stick to them like glue. P.S : you will have to 'kiss' a number of 'frogs' before you get the right fundi...
I think I've had the worst experience with a paint job. One month after a full body paint work my car had cracks and faded paint. In the name of supporting a friend and affordable rates
This thing called supporting a friend is not for me coz at the end , you are the one who loses. I am on the last plans of repainting a Toyota premio T260 wine red n toyota kenya doing it for me at 152283 shillings. Already paid the 3500 bod for quotation which will be deducted upon taking the car for repainting. I love perfection.
