What a great upload, Ben - as others have commented, I thoroughly enjoy content like this on your channel … and lots of folks out to have fun, this put a smile on my face 👍🏼
So much fun, Ben, all the riders and their bikes. Thanks for mingling with everyone for a few minutes and asking the tough questions, like tire choice. Inquiring minds do want to know. 😀
Hardcore investigative journalism. Really putting that old college degree to work. lol. Seriously though - I love the excuse to chat with folks about their setup.
Love all the bikes such a wide variety of styles and brands. My favorite was the Cotton Candy Trek and the Salsa Journeyman would have made me and my Salsa feel right at home.
Awesome video, really shows the fun an variety at these events. It instantly makes me want to join, too. Maybe someday… Keep it up, your are really bringing excellence to yt.
That is what I like about American cycling. Everything is possible and nobody cares. It is all about fun. Here in Europe/the Netherlands every cyclist wants/needs to have the newest/most expensive/lightes bikes, gears and clothes. But it should be about having having fun and just having a nice day on your bike. No matter what shape you or your bike is.
We certainly have our fair share here of people who are exited about getting the latest and greatest. Nothing wrong with that, necessarily. But yes, agreed - just getting out there and enjoying the day is the main thing. 👍
Great vid bro, hope think besides the pinrello, your bike was awesome!! You know of course that Lance n George ride this bike and the flipping love it! I’m thinking that the Envie Mog is the best all around bike though. Sadly for me there are no Envie dealers around me here in Katy Texas - outside of Houston.
I think another fun question you could be asking folks, is what saddle they're running. Very rare to see an avid rider still running whatever saddle came stock on their bike. Saddle choice is typically a very personal preference. I can vouch as I have a box of saddles in my basement that I have tried over the years. Currently on a Rene Herse Berthound Galibier saddle. Expensive, but so far worth it!
Maybe they just say it to sound cool. Here. I'll try. "Hey everybody, Robb here, just sharing a few words from my heart. I love bikes and people who ride bikes. And it's so good to live in Boulder." And hey, it works. I feel cooler already. 😎
More of this type of content please... love seeing what people are riding.
yes
Agreed. Love these “everyday rider” interviews and race reports.
I agree. Great to see what others choose to ride. Tire choices too.
Mid South definitely on my calendar for next year.
Heck yeah, Jim. You'll love it.
Im coming too! Gotta give it a try
Malik from Chicago- as a long time singlespeeder, you have the best response to accepting gears!
Update from Malik above. 👌
Yes! That’s the people I really like to hear from!
Not just the fast guys but all people from all walks of life that are truly loving the RIDE!
People are awesome! Thanks for the inspiring video.
Great mix of people and bikes and equipment, really interesting.
Great vid Ben. Enjoy your content!
I did the 100 last year and 50 this year! Thanks for bringing attention to this event!
Right on. Cool to have the distance choice, right?
Good stuff there, Ben.
Thanks
Thank you!
Great segment! Enjoyed my ride in Stillwater with the Fuschia Journeyman with my 700c Ailerons. 😁
Fantastic video, Ben. Best of luck on the ride!

so fun! id watch one of these anytime you wanted to post. pro bikes are cool, but everyday rider bikes are more fun!
Love the diversity ❤ and all the bikes.
This was awesome. Thanks so much. Would love to see more videos with people commenting on their gear...especially amateur athletes/racers.
Glad you enjoyed it.
This is becoming my favourite youtube channel. Awesome variety of bikes here, thanks for checking out everything for us!
Thank you, Bryce. I'm definitely open to suggestions for future topics!
People, sub this channel! Good work Ben. I enjoy seeing what everyone is riding.
Surely there was a nice Ti bike somewhere ! Like a Bingham ;-)
Love this overview! Nice work Ben.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love the people the bikes wish I was there too.

Thank you, Eric. This community that Bobby has helped nurture makes it easy and fun.

Hey! That's my fat bike at the beginning. Also I'm from Rio Rancho, just a skip away from ABQ. 😉
Rio Rancho represent!
great stuff Ben, Now for the post ride with what beers everyone is drinking! :)
Mid South IPA by Iron Monk, mostly, as a volunteer from Tulsa was standing in the finishing chute and handing ‘em out by the hundreds.
But if they're trophies. I'm thinkin', man. you gotta take your trophy home and put it on the shelf. Maybe the empty works, too. 😀
Love the overview of what others are riding! What do you think was the most common bike to see at the race? Most common tire? Thanks Ben!
Good questions - wish I knew the answers. A few years ago I would have said Salsa.. now I have no idea; there are so many. Same with tires!
What are those trees in the background? Monterey Cypresses or Yew trees?

Crappy weather last couple of years and didn't make plans to attend this year and of course it was dry and sunny
Go figure. Last year ended up being dry, despite the snow right before. 2020 was a mudder for sure...
My bike is in the B-Roll!!
Which one?
@@TheRidewithBenDelaney Orange All City with the red frame bag at 28s!
Dope!
“Cotton candy!”
You forgot to tell us the tires that you're running. Enjoy the ride!
Coming up in the race video for sure. There's a story there...
@@TheRidewithBenDelaney you should look into a Vermont gravel ride
Loving the variety of bikes not just carbon modernity!
The ride is almost secondary to the experience of being in Stillwater for The Mid South.
Congratulations on the absolutely dialed hood position
Shout out to cotton candy Trek from another Gramd Rapids native! 🤙
🤙
Best thing about gravel riding is not being anywhere near vehicles 🚗
Do over 50% of all Gravel riders now live in Boulder ;-)
Hahaha... 50% of all bike riders in the US live in Boulder County.
Maybe they just say it to sound cool. Here. I'll try. "Hey everybody, Robb here, just sharing a few words from my heart. I love bikes and people who ride bikes. And it's so good to live in Boulder." And hey, it works. I feel cooler already. 😎
Always right on as far content and here the spirit of Mid south
If steel is so real, then those bikes wouldn't require a carbon fork.
Love it! ❤️
Thank you.
