Bro trying to act like he didn't go back and get the 90 Xanax off camera 😂
He probably didn’t because Xanax is disgusting and so are the people who are addicted to it. They can’t even function like normal human beings 😂 lmao
Lmfaoooooo he had a xan and some
Pain pills look how small his pupils are bro
@@mattgriffin3013barrin out
@@mattgriffin3013I thought Mexican pharmacies often sold fake pills
thats what your eyes look like when its a bright day and you have blue eyes. thats what his pupils always look like.
You can tell he hasn’t been back to the US a lot recently. $35 won’t get you the worst motel room in the US. I don’t think you can rent a dumpster for $35 a night 😆
You actually can, I rented a pretty decent room for 50
Most here in Socal start from 65+ plus tax
Hes saying $35 and these guys talking about $50+... Cant even camp in a spot for $35
@@xodzphoneyou definitely can just not near the city. Army Corp of engineers bb also blms are free but you gotta be much more prepared 😊
50$ for a good crappy one about 75$ for a decent one and about 125$ for the works
love your style, man. you're not annoying, AT ALL. keep doing you. we'll keep watching.
Until he goes to india😂
$35 for a private hotel room is too much. $19 for a hostel is a great deal.
This guy 😂
Yeah privacy for 16 more bucks works for me
actually a high percentage difference considering he must not go broke and identifies with the poor and outcast.
Most Mexicans--especially the poor blue collar ones--are amazingly friendly and helpful. If people everywhere were as hospitable as Mexicans I’d travel far more.
Most cartel members are polite and respectful to tourists. Show respect get respect.
@@JuanCollins-I notice it more so with Mexicans or Japanese. Some countries just have people with no manners like the US and some in Canada 😂
Yes a Mexican maid legit helped herself to my virginity when I was 14.
💯
Good hardworking culture.
In prison. It’s the white and mexicans that team up.
Tulum was horrrrrrrible. You could tell they hate your guts. Definitely made me rethink what I thought about Mexican hospitality. Even the last couple times I've been in Cancun/Isla, and I'm super sweet and was speaking Spanish.
You travel like I do.. yet have a brilliant and comfortable way of sharing it. I've always been intimidated filming, because of my anxiety and respect for the people. It's a delicate balance, getting views while not exploiting them. Best wishes with your channel mate.. showing the other side of the Instagram, tourist traps. It's not about seeing places, but meeting people and seeing through new eyes. Kudos.
Don’t let your anxiety or fears control your life or your passions you only live once and you have nothing to lose only to gain give your hesitations a try
Most people have more to lose than they think man being real.@@burninforests4203
6:00 that guy was drunk as fuck
Out there honestly looks like freedom, where you can just grab a beer and sit down and drink it. Without your neighbors calling the cops because you're sitting on the sidewalk
yeah that's the beauty of mexico.
That sounds like a problem with you. Why aren’t you making friends with the people that live right next to you?
Where do you live, California ?
Ah shit that’s a bad joke they have people doing fentanyl in drop off spots
@@goobiiguy Utah, you would have to live here to understand
Tulu'um is the site of a pre-Columbian Mayan walled city which served as a major port for Coba, in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo.
The ruins are situated on 12-meter-tall (39 ft) cliffs along the east coast of the Yucatán Peninsula on the Caribbean Sea. Tulum was one of the last cities built and inhabited by the Maya and achieved its greatest prominence between the 13th and 15th centuries. Maya continued to occupy Tulum for about 70 years after the Spanish began occupying Mexico, but the city was abandoned by the end of the 16th century. Tulum is one of the best-preserved coastal Maya sites, and today a popular site for tourists.
Yesterday, this Chanel had 99,000 subs.
Moving FAST brothers and sisters😊
$35 a night is not bad. Mexicans have to eat and drink beer too!😊
Mexican here. I wouldn't stay at a $35 a night hotel. A decent one starts, I guess, at around $60. $35 sounds more like a love hotel 😂.
I like the awareness and respect you have for the locals. Big difference from most travel vloggers

You took an amazing journey on this video
This is so cool, seeing others like us
found your channel just now.Love the content!!
Love your video's bro thanks for making them
I’m from Mexico and the thing you saw in the pharmacy was shocking idk if That’s a tulum thing but for sure a normal pharmacy in other states are not going to sell you drugs like xanax with no medical recipe cuz it’s still a regulated medicine
Difference is that people actually use them as medicine.
In Juarez they sell Xanax in every pharmacy
id always see pharmacies in playa also selling xanax and other prescription drugs 😭
I literally see this everytime I go to the border, not even deep in Mexico lmao
@@btcjoeloh jeeze now I need to move to Mexico.. I have panic disorder and they won't prescribe that shiz in Canada even if you lose your job from intense panic attacks and are too afraid to leave your house now... Heh.. Ugh.
Love your videos!
Great vid. Nice man.
One thing that has struck me after watching a lot of videos is the fact that youve managed to hang on to your Ray-Bans for so long. Most people I know are shit at taking care of their sunglasses. I run a Sunglass Hut though so I guess its good for me lol
My raybans are like family to me. I have 6 pairs and none of them have ever been lost.
The "jajajajajajaja," is a nice touch btw. Love it
I walked down those same dirt roads, south of avenida tulum down calle beta sur
It looks sketch, lots of street dogs but actually pretty safe day and night, friendly people
hoping there's a day 2/3 to this, very interesting!
Thanks amigo
My family live in tulum but the real tulum that you are showing 🙏
When you took that wrong turn down the street to where the man who lived and worked on cardboard recycling is definitely my favorite part of the video. Back streets of Tulum.
I am vicariously enjoying Mexico and Columbia with you! I want to go!
San Jose del Pacifico, Oaxaca is the capital of shrooms. Legal. And full of guides and shaman etc. And less BS. Tulum 25 years ago was amazing. Glad I saw it then for sure. It's only gonna get worse with the train and the airport but it was nice while it lasted. You're in the turista area but not the hotel zone. Never can complain about the Caribe tho. Have fun.
Love this dude 😅
hey man, were you able to find the hongitos at all? I am headed to Playa del Carmen soon, and keen to get some. Hope it's not too hard
Be careful putting locals on vid. That guy talking about cartels will probably have issues because of this.
Bro relax he is what we call in Mexico “Borrachito” he ain’t no cartel member he’s just drunk, I couldn’t even comprehend what he was saying 😂
@@alejandrocerna4299 your spanish must not be great, even while drunk you can make out what hes saying. I dont think anything WILL happen but in the off chance a cartel member finds this vid he will undoubtedly get himself and his fam in some issue.
Happens all the time there was a influencer in mex that was executed because he talked shit while drinking.
You want mushrooms? go to Oaxaca.
si! san jose del pacifico
I always had great street awareness wherever I was...I was there once and got a ton of mushrooms from a couple surfers. Lol I was watching homie surf and he comes over says what's good eventually and I could tell his eyes were dilated...he was catching a buzz and catching some waves
16:19 i asked myself that same question to myself during my late teens-20's 😂
Love this
From finding shrooms to entering a church service
You're the best.
It amazes me how many of these gringos in the comments have no idea of what they are talking about “cartels this cartels that” 😂 there are not cartels on every corner. Y’all watch too much tv and Netflix
Palenque is also a historical place for magic mushrooms since the ancient times in Mexico. From what I understand they basically grown all around there near the pyramid complexes.

I was down for the OD on pharmaceuticals concept for the video
The last time I stayed in a hotel in a non-touristic city in Mexico I was charged like 65 usd a night and the cheapest hotel was like 45 usd (and it looked kind of sketchy tbh). The price they gave you, especially in a place like Tulum was actually cheap for Mexican standards. I'm Mexican btw.

It actually is bro.
But its really not

I agree. I'm currently living in the US, but from Scotland. Mexico is one of my top contenders to move to when I retire. I love Mexico!
Those terms come from WWII and don't necessarily mean impoverished.
You should come to Trondheim Norway and pick some fleinsopp its a pyskodelic mushroom
$16 more dollars could've had your own room? Lol...
Love your channel man. I am making another channel for the same thing. You do great narration thanks
Youre so cool Mr Ballen
Thats cuz ppl with dreads and hippie shirts are usually pretentious posers
All you Gotta do is get a taxi driver or somebody selling towels and jewelry on the beach and you can get anything your little heart desires

Searching for mushrooms and finally found some tacos, lol.
I love the Mexican people some of the nicest and giving people I have ever met i worked with a dude that was Mexican and I had no lunch and was completely broke because I just started the job so the first 2 weeks where hard until I got paid. The guy I worked with shared his lunch with me every day and also had his wife make extra so I could eat I will never forget that that was over 20 years ago now and I hope the best for him and his family
He’s an influencer, a dropout and a hippie. 😂
Best way is to get to know some locals and be ready to go hunting after it rains! right where the cows take off when they jump over the moon.
@8:42 now that I come to think of it, no one has ever told me where the second world is!🤔

I love that he has the most outrageous controversial takes but then again the name of the channel is "Small Brained American" so you can't even get mad by design, absolutley genius lmao
I think the local cartels had a job around 08:31 lmao.
Learned from the people that work at the resorts that the coast of quintana roo is basically owned by foreign investors, not much is owned my mexicans. The government turns a blind eye because of the money they bring, foreigners are not suppose to own land in mexico. Its a catch 22 , foreign investors bring jobs to the people (the people do like that) but you lose the authencity. Going to the small pueblos or the centers where locals live gives you the reality and authenticity. Just have to be willing to venture.
When you are looking for hongitos, you are on the right path.
Sometimes… hongitos look for you 😊 🍄
Come to Luxembourg ❤
Excellent video, but next time blur the faces of the dudes telling u stuff they rlly shouldn’t, like the cartel guy. Amazing video tho!! 🔥🔥
Dude relax mf was just drunk not every person on every corner is a cartel member

In parts of America a 2mg bar of xanax is 10$ per pill so 150 for 30 is a freakin steal
Probably bc theyre not real and mostly fent. Also it’s $10*
@goobah1389 very true I'm sure there's more fake pressed bars out there then real shit smfh I'm glad I'm sober and never have to worry about this anymore
Fentanyl for sure

When are you going to Puerto Rico bro?
There is peyote too but maybe you don't want to trip that hard.

$150 for 30 xans is crazy
especially in mexico!!! wtf!!

You would have had better luck in Playa. MUCH closer to the beach, plus you can’t get 20 feet down 5th Ave without someone ordering to sell you drugs.
