- We were back on Exmoor for what I can only describe as some of the finest presented pheasants in the UK!
This day was incredible from start to finish. Great food, friendly company, white pheasants, big fines, stunning scenery and very challenging birds!!
I tried my best to capture the best footage possible so you could all join us on the day. These exmoor pheasants were very high and slid from side to side which was amazing to whitness.
You'll see how these birds drift, when you think you've got the correct line to connect with a bird, think again!
Hot barrels,
Rob.
What some brilliant birds the best I have ever seen and I am 78, well done to the keepers beaters and pickers up.
That looked bloody epic ! , you would be hard pressed to find a better sporting day out .. having retired to Spain the one thing I miss more than anything is shooting ..what a day out , good company and even better birds .really really enjoyed that ..brought back some great memories 👍
Glad to hear you enjoyed it Richard! 👍 thank you

Another awesome video as always buddy!!!
Great video and some stunning birds. Best viewed with ear plugs in turn volume to max. Great sound is the shotgun love it, especially echoing thru the woodland. Great video keep it up 👍🏻
Great video Rob ,cant believe you let Eggins call you a Northern * ***** on camera 🤣🤣 Nice to see Jules shooting well also 👍
Brilliant Birds.. I beat at Gnaton estate.. they also have impressive tree lined banks.. liking the shot cam. Gives a accurate representation of lead ect..
Wow! Astonishing. (Your spaniel makes even mine look disciplined!)
They aren’t my dogs chap.
Lovely gents
Another great video. Some stomers there. Did you tighten your chokes up.
After all that practice Julian has had to learn how to shoot things up the rear and he turns out to be quite handy when they’re driven. Who would have known it? I can’t help thinking how much more stylish you both would have looked shooting a 16 bore though. I keep telling you that you should try one! (If you’re man enough?) 😂
Great shooting both of you and a great venue.👍
What is that thing running behind you at 2:42? Wait? Its that one of the dogs? Lol
Just curious, what chokes do people use for these high birds?? (well they look high to me!). I usually shoot 1/4 and 1/2, but wonder if needs more for this height.
That looks an amazing place to shoot, what was the final bag?👍👍
What camera are you using, is the the ShotKam?
Life is a learning experience, only if you learn.
What gun are you using please. It looks pretty smart
Land of archangels.Shot on ground close by a few times years ago.Think they eat their young there as I recall 😈. Those were the days of Viri Blacks and Nobel Speeds from WCG...Great watch. rock steady cockers were a feature 😱😈
So are these wild birds? Im from Canada so I know nothing about hunting in the UK! Thanks
They are reared for shooting. That way you can shoot larger bags without denting the wild population. There are wild bird shoots in the uk but the bag is much smaller.
Can i ask where is this and how can we book a trip ?
They have very few days bud but worth giving them a shout just in case 👍
😂😂😂 you wasted all this Ammo 😅😅
Wouldn't mind some contact details?
