I have the ‘poor man’s’ version of this tent, the ‘night cat’ it’s a brilliant lightweight tent and packs down so small, dead easy to pitch and takes literally no time. 😊
Another great video mate. You certainly gave the tent a good Scottish christening! Now I'm tempted to change out my hexpeak to the Lanshan 🤦🏻♂️😂. ATB.
Yes, it's an interesting one. Will I use the teepee again? It's a great size tent but compared to the Lanshan, quite heavy. Both are quick to pitch. Hmmm.....? Thanks for watching.. 👍😉
Great stuff -welcome to the club! I'm also a late Autumn/Winter Camper and planning a long distance trek in Scotland myself at some point over the next couple of months. Going to take the L1, rather than the Terra Nova I used on the WHW, half the weight and less condensation - looking forward to seeing some of your outings over the best seasons to come. ... atb Sinco
@@happyhikerfrombykerandy2245 unfortunately i had some health problems so everything was put on hold - hopefully doing some treks in Autumn! good luck with your adventure atb Sinco
Hello you make very nice videos, I have a question to ask you, where did you find your footprint ? and in what material is it made ? Sorry for my bad English
Another inspiring hike. I’m a fair weather with reasonable vistas due to my photography need. Ticks ~ potential danger due to Lyme disease as we do have it in parts of Wester Ross. Good stuff though 🥃✔️
I hear ya James'ss. I just needed to get out. The plan was to get pitched up before the rain came but I got caught out. Ticks are horrible little things.. I try to be ultra careful. Thanks again for watching. 👍
@@BoredManOutdoors I had the original lanshan 1 and tbh I wasn’t keen as no matter how hard I tried not spilling the seam sealing I inevitably spilt some and I always saw it when I put it up lol… but this has better tensioners and hasn’t the need to seam seal.. a massive improvement in my eyes and looks tempting
Great video Terry, you mentioned you were planning to get some additional attachment points to tighten up the nest. Did you get some and if so what did you get?

Hello
you make very nice videos, I have a question to ask you, where did you find your footprint ? and in what material is it made ?
Sorry for my bad English
Hi there. It is Tyvek. Very cheap and very tough and very lightweight.. Google it. 😎👍👍
Great place to pitch for the night. Great hike too. JP
Cheers Biking360. It's my go to spot. A tiny perch on the side of a hill. Just perfect when I nee a night out. Thanks again. 😁😎👌
Very enjoyable, thank you.
Thank you very much. I actually camped up there last night. First time in ages. 👍
Awesome video. I have a similar tent.

Tent storage must be getting tight at the bored man household. Its like they say, out in the nasty weather makes you a badass.
A badass hiker as well as cyclist? Once this Ultra is oot of the way I'm back on the bike Randy. You still a bkooler? Hope you're all well?
Jim👍
Great video mate. Did you have to seam seal this?
Hi pal. No it wasn't required. I have a luxe hexpeak which did though. I'm getting to grips with the Lanshan now, decent tent. 👍😎

Thanks Jim ,which rucksack are you using?
Hi - sorry for the late reply - been ootnboot,. It's the Osprey exos 58 ltr. 👍
Classic Scottish hillwalking weather! Were you, by any chance, on, or near, Beinn Narnain/Arrochar Alps? Nice video an keep up the good work 👍
Thanks Nigel. Not too far. Just across the village of Arrochar on Cruach Tairbeirt. 😎👌
Class 😊 👍
Cheers Fred. 😎
Jimmy 3 tents, love it 👏👏👏 did I notice a tyvek ground sheet also? Looks like tent went well? 😍
Morning Mon ami.. soon be back up here for the Ultra... 4 tents noo. 😁. Had the tyvek sheet a while, borrowed it from another tent. 👌⛺👍
Great video Terry, you mentioned you were planning to get some additional attachment points to tighten up the nest. Did you get some and if so what did you get?
Hi there. Thanks for your message. No I didn't bother. I sold it not long after the camp. 👍
@@BoredManOutdoors thanks Terry
Let's see more of Terry.
No No No No.. Nothing against them as long as they dont dine on me. 😁😁👍
What’s the make of the trekking poles you used in this?
Hi. Not sure of actual name but Black Diamond FLZ.
