Rotting Christ is such a solid band. They never dissapoint and I love how they never overcomplicate their music. It's such pure metal!
Sakis was very mature since the start. In interview 22 years ago he had said that he does not consider any instrument more important the whole, the song. The feel of the whole. The instruments serve.

might grow on me but wasn't to impressed..... pains me to say it because rotting christ is one of my all time fav bands.
put considering this is already not the norm for them with guest vocalist and all, hopefully their new album with still have their unique, dark sound they used to have, but feel like has been waning over the past few albums.. Theogonia was the last album from them i was really into.... probably one of my favorites period...
This is not a single from an upcoming album. This is a one off song to celebrate the NA tour.
This is more like a soundtrack to nature. It is a great song. Completely different style and purpose. Do not see it as a theme of RC album, it is an ode to nature.

To be honest . Im suprised that Lars was the clean vocal on the track and not Simen Hæstnes aka ICS Vortex. But sounds fucking Borknagar with the Rotting Christ guitars😀
This is the second time I listen to that song. The first time I wasn't convinced but I like how different is from their typical stuff and even the lyrics are different, and thank Sakis for that because I'm fucking tired of the satanic bullshit. Now, I like it way more, and it sounds like a song for a movie like lord of the rings.
When you're called Rotting Christ I'd expect something alot Darker and Heavier
