yes the traditional melody of the door bell - as with church bells - is the pentatonic scale based on perfect fifths. Good call.

The "Western" pentatonic scale though is still going to use equal-tempered ratios so not be the REAL Perfect Fifths as natural numbers. thanks

Not exactly :) You need to factor in the resonance and sustain of the instrument also.
