Jeg vil prøve å forklare spørsmalet mitt. I am not hearing this: steinEN I hear this: steiNN I would pronounce it as I see it: stein+en Just like if it were steinene I feel like I would need to say ‘stein+ene’ Kan du forklare for meg?
Hi, Much like in English, Norwegian words aren't always pronounced exactly the way they are written. It's common to not properly enunciate the "e" in the -en ending for masculine words in their definite form. For example: "Båten" (the boat) is commonly pronounced "båtn". "Båtene" (the boats) is commonly pronounced "båtne". Hope this helps!
