As with Sju and Syv, I'm trying to get my head around ett, én, and en, if you could explain those. I think it's to do with gender, but I'm also wondering if any other numbers have multiple versions depending on what is being counted. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Please, make more videos like this, just talking about something in Norwegian! It helps a lot :)
Your videos like this is something I really really needed… What I really value and enjoy is you talking about something you experienced in casual Norwegian (not like from “textbook") with subtitles and bunch of explanations. I really wanted to know expressions like “jo” or “ikke sant” in this video, because what I’m using for learning Norwegian doesn’t really teach me things like this. Also the editing looks really cool and fun to watch, there seem to be lots to uncover (since English isn’t my first language sometimes I have to pause the video to read all the captions, it takes some time to read and learn everything, but I’m not complaining!) Thank you for such a great video, I hope you make more videos like this in a future, also I’ll make sure to check your posts on Instagram more! Edit: and you linked a PDF??? I feel blessed 🙏
Tusen Takk, Deserves a billionviews tbh
These videos deserves more love (and views, and likes)… tune takk
This is super useful. I'm learning Norwegian and this is fun, easy, and challenging and great presentation with the subtitles. Immediately subscribed. I'd happily support this channel if you added a tip jar and hope this grows.

Yeah super like your format and style of this video. Very understandable and enjoyable jo! Can I ask what your dialekt is? Idk I have a few books about hallingmålet. Are you familiar?

Heyy nice to see Oscar back! :)
Yooo, a new norwegian jo video, thanks heaps! Clicked this at light speed
Been learning Norwegian for almost a year now and I am glad seeing a new video by you. Your videos helped me a lot in the past to get better at understanding Norwegian. Keep up the good work 😄
I have been waiting so long for you to upload( even though I discovered your channel this year 😅). You're my favourite teacher in norwegian 😊 Tusen takk!!
Aww haha I kept you waiting for a bit!! I appreciate you being here!😄
❤❤❤
Your videos are fun and absolutely brilliant! I've been trying to learn since visiting Norway earlier this year, but just taking lessons is pretty dry. The situational approach you use in your videos makes the language feel much more alive! And your animations put a smile on my face 😁
That's so nice to hear 😁🌻
Glad to see you back as someone who has no use for social media in general, your videos are always so interactive and fun, always great way of learning more intricacies about the Norwegian language! Btw, I totally support the idea of a Northern Norwegian video, I moved in the area a few months ago, so it would be highly appreciated on my part!😊
Thank you so much! Always so happy to know my content is helpful:) Let's see if I can make something on Northern Norwegian!🤓🇳🇴

Thank you so much! You are a fantastic teacher
I am norwegian, why is bok female? what are the rules for this? Also we norwegians, never use ei, who use that now adays? ??
There are (to my knowledge) no set rules for which words belong to which gender. You say people do not use "ei" nowadays...? I use ei all the time - are you telling me you say "boken" and not "boka" in daily speech? Some people may prefer to use the article "en" instead of "ei" for feminine nouns, but they still apply the feminine ending "-a" in the definite form (boka, stua, lampa, gata). In my experience, this is how most people speak. A notable exception is the Bergen dialect, which systematically does not use hunkjønn.
This video is amazing ❤
*Du* er søt 😊
Takk! Jeg skal prøve det ❤
Store ting? Not store tinger or tingene? Thanks in advance!
Ting, although it is a hankjønn (masculine) word, has no ending in its plural form. It deviates from the main rule in that way:) En ting (a thing) Tingen (the thing) Ting (things) Tingene (the things) Hope that helps!⭐️
@@NorwegianJoVideos tusen takk!! Elsker videoene dine🫶
