But she ended up living in Malaysia until her old days and continues to be friends with one of her particular student who introduced nasi lemak to her.

It is a custom for Malaysian to follow the basic Islamic teaching of treating your guest with respect and give them first priority upon your own self. It has been taught for generations and deep into our society regardless of our religions. I was taught since my very young age that even if our house don't have any furniture but only one bed, it is an obligation for us to offer the only bed we have to our guest, with intention, not just a kind gesture and we are sleeping on the floor is the best way as Malaysian should be.
