  • Is thrive market really worth it? Do you really save money buying natural/organic products with Thrive Market? In this video, I compare prices to find out.
As a busy mom, I'm always looking for ways to save on my groceries, especially since I perfer to shop for organic products. I'm sure you know how expensive some items can get.
I saw some glowing reviews for Thrive Market, an online marketplace where you can get a variety of natural and organic products at a discount. The website even says "Find a product cheaper elsewhere? We'll beat their price!"
How could you not want to sign up?
I bought three Thrive Market boxes with some delicious organic snacks and pantry items, but am I really saving money? Is Thrive Market actually cheaper? I needed to know. You need to know. So, I compared prices of items from my most recent order to similar products at Aldi, Target, Walmart, and Whole Foods. And here's the kicker, I saved on some items, but not all.
DISCLAIMER: This is not a sponsored Thrive Market review. This video is my personal opinion. I did my own research comparing prices listed online at Aldi, Target, Walmart and Whole Foods. Prices may differ from what you might see at your local grocery store.

Many of you have pointed out that the individual ingredients between each product matter. Most of the options I presented aren't bad alternatives, but if certain oils or other ingredients aren't your jam then maybe Thrive Market is for you. This is just my take on a somewhat expensive service. Organic food is pricey. Many grocery stores are stepping up their game on providing higher quality products at a much cheaper price than you find on Thrive. Of course, make the right choice for you. I just don't think it's worth it 🤷🏼‍♀️

I doubted they have the lowest prices because they don't allow you to see prices until you are already a member - right off the bat, a red flag for me. I think they would be great for people/families with special diets, as you mentioned. Also, good for somebody with limited access to these items, otherwise, doesn't seem worth it for the average person. Thanks so much for your review.

Thrive seems to be good for people like myself. I follow more of an organic pescetarian diet, and living in a rural place makes it pretty difficult to buy products that I like to have in my diet. I'd have to travel like 1.5 hours to get to my nearest Whole Foods, limited to mainly just Walmart and local shopping stores that have a few things I eat, but far from what I actually prefer. It's been a blessing for me, although I 100% can understand why it might not be for others.

I live within 10 miles of Costco, Whole Foods, Aldi, Walmart and other grocery stores. I go to Whole Foods for mainly for fresh produce; they have always weekly sales, I go aisle by aisle and just stock up on items. That way, the prices are very reasonable. I don't think Thrive market would beat those sale prices at Whole Foods.

I'm interested in Thrive market because I like to try to eat keto as often as I can however as we know it's expensive sometimes I just don't get to eat keto. Anyway my issue is I live in a small town like 40,000 population and its quickly becoming a ghost town so it's very difficult to find certain things especially keto stuff. We don't have an Aldi (is that just in California?) I wish because I've seen loads of videos featuring Aldi, we don't have a whole foods. Can you have orders shipped from whole foods? We also don't have trader Joe's so while it looks like a little more expensive I feel it's worth it if I'm just getting my keto/low carb staples. Thank you for this video. Do you have a video that talks about the quality of the products you purchased by chance? Thank you so much! Ps if anyone can answer these questions I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

I don't have a video talking about the quality of products I got, but I do have a short showing some things I've tried and loved (like the coconut aminos 😋 so good and way better than salty soy sauce): ua-cam.com/users/shortsYBUIjfBKrHA?feature=share

"I strongly recommend finding other sources than Thrive Market.
      - They are seriously overpriced. You can find options elsewhere at better prices.
      - You don't know how overpriced they are ahead of time because they don't let you see their products and prices until you are signed up. (yeah, they're lying)
      - Once you figure out that they are overpriced, you will find it INCREDIBLY hard to cancel that membership. Yeah, they say it's easy and will only take a few minutes, but reality is different.
      - If you are unfortunate enough to have put down the $60 yearly fee, you will likely never see it again. Because their products are overpriced, you are probably best off considering that a sunk cost.
      - That promise of a free membership for anyone who is financially in need is pointless. None of their products are going to be within a financially strapped persons budget.
      - They've salted the internet with glowing reviews that can't be trusted.
Ask me how I know. Been trying steadily to cancel for 24 hours. They ONLY do it via chat. Promised time to speak to an agent is 5 minutes. At some point probably most people just give up."

@@ChrystalPaull I don’t know if it is different now then it was when you did this review but I signed up and within 15 minutes discovered they did not have anything that I use so I immediately canceled and they would not refund my money. I contacted them and they said if you don’t pay for the entire year membership then you cannot get a refund. I was so surprised as I was only a member for 15 mins and did not order 1 item. It turns out that Google is full of the same experience from people that I had. It is in the membership rules so I just want people to be aware. I hope everyone has a great experience if they do decide to use Thrive.

@@teslabell2721 oh wow! Just looked up that Thrive got rid of the 30-day free trial and replaced with 30-day risk free membership. Thank you for sharing this because people need to know. I'm sorry you were charged for a full month and didn't get use it. That's not ok in my opinion.

Thrivers also sustainably sourced so if that is important to you, you have to weigh that as well. I imagine all the other products found elsewhere are probably not sustainably sourced.

Thrive market isn't always cheapest especially if you look for deals in other stores. The free gifts are what makes it worth it.
