Wow so much I had no idea. Thanks for this video! I just started at the end of March with Stampin Up and have no customers yet. I do everything online, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, UA-cam and Blogger. I have been called Southern Angels Btq because years ago I started online selling clothing and homegoods then my crafts. Now I have been changing the name to Southern Angels Stamping but some sites like UA-cam my blog and Facebook I am having more trouble with changing the link so it's a work in progress. I really want to make a go at this business. But I was told it was easy and it's not! Was also told I would get help in getting my customers and have not! My UA-cam has only over 900 subscribers so far and my Instagram is very small. I just started really learning how to use that. Pinterest I use sometimes but I am not good at it. I just post my videos to it have made a folder for stampin up and will post everything in it. I use to use pic money maney years ago. The others have never done before. They sound helpful. Thursday night and Friday I was on Facebook posting to my entire friends list with my link. Anything I can do to get just one sale!! I have talked to people in person and I will be doing a shop next month. I have a promo code set up now but no one has used it😟 I have been posting the same thing over and over I feel. But what I need is shout outside and my name spread around so that people will know and people can tell others. No one is telling anyone about me. I am feeling like I helped someone out by signing up during the celebration because I really was not ready to do this yet since I did not have enough followers on UA-cam or Instagram. I had wanted to wait till next year but did it any way. My craft room isn't even set up to craft in right now. I was going to get it cleaned out first so I can do my videos up there in my room but now I really have not had the time. I was lead to believe a different story and just found out that now Friday when I spoke to the mane office I have to sale $300 each month or I won't get to be a demonstrator 🙄 So this scares me when I have not sold anything yet! I went and bought the paper pumpkin a 3 month subscription but that's it. So I have subscribed to you and will be watching more of your videos like this. Thanks for your help. Tammy😇

I do have trouble with driving people to my website. I have to admit I don't use my pinterest much at all but I will now! Thank you so much :)
Yes, don't do a bunch of work on your blog to then not have anyone going there. Really pushing people to your blog or sharing your content is as important as creating the content.
I also forgot to let you know that I have to do everything on my phone. I have a Galaxy s9 but there are time I still use my old Galaxy s7. How I do my videos for UA-cam are on the phone.. even editing and uploading. Once uploaded to UA-cam then I get on my husband's laptop and do any last minute editing to be done. It takes me hours to do videos. Some people I know just through up a video and there done in a few minutes. I have been known to take all day on making a video editing it and getting it uploaded and posted. Instagram posts are a lot of work too. I have been working on trying to make mine look better. I don't have fancy lights so it's hard to do at times.
Great content Wendy... I have mail chimp but never know what content to use there verse Facebook, instagram etc. I love the look of tailwind. I’m going to take some time with that and watch those videos. I never know which board to pin things too... do you pin pics to more than one board???
Yes I do pin to more than one board :) Tailwind is great at making sure they get pinned to different boards but at different times.
What size do you use for your blog posts? Also, I would like to see a Watermark video. I do a Watermark on my Mac but I’d like to see if I’m missing anything.

Also can I ask what is the financial benefit to pinning from. Pinterest? Like redirecting to your blog ie traffic or just being seen to be bought from? Thanks for any insight? I imagine Pinterest is not monetized but maybe I’m wrong:)

My question, how often do you send emails? I hate to be annoying, I don’t like to say the same stuff every week so I usually send it once every two weeks at most. What do you say to not always seem like you’re asking people to “buy stuff” I despise being in genuine. Thanks for your reply!
I am really loving your info. What are your thoughts on the DBWS monthly newsletter? I have my blog through blogger but also send the monthly one from there, I like that the specials and promotions are already linked.
I too would like information about how you created your watermark, as I haven't figured out anything satisfactory yet. I've tried a couple of apps, but they all seem to have their limitations. And I don't have a good graphic design software. Thanks so much for all the great information - really useful!
I created my watermark in PicMonkey and just faded it!

Why do you have a separate blog outside of the SU website?
Great question! The SU website is owned by SU. So in the event they made changes I would lose ALL of that content because it is stored and housed on their servers. By having and paying for my own site I am in control of that. I own the server space, the content and I can do what I wish.
I get a couple emails from demonstrators that seem very similar. Do one of these programs do this for you or is this all your own content?
It's all your own content. It simply provides some templates and then a place to store the emails and contacts so you can send them out.
Many people have told me that my website is my blog. Do I need it to be in a place on my website? I have never really felt I was using it the correct way.
I'm not 100% sure what you are asking but I think you're saying you have two different things? A blog and website? If that's the case my opinion is everything should be housed in the same place. Are you putting different things in these places?
I just have a website. So, I guess I'm doing it right by leaving everything in one place. My Website is my blog? and my blog is my website? Correct LOL!!!!
