1991 Lotus Esprit - 17 (Upholstery - Recovering the moon roof runners)

It's cold outside. Time to turn my attention back to the interior. This is part 1 of multiple videos showing my attempts at doing automotive upholstery work.

Within my Esprit these trim panels that side the sun roof are glued to the underside bottom and ends with the top side glued to the sunroof opening up and under the rubber seal.. Same is true for the front panel holding the mirror and visors. The rear surround of the inner cabin window also glues to the body at either side over and under the door seal.

Interesting. What year Esprit? Mine was either screwed in or used the metal brackets you see in the videos...and actually, even a bit of velcro was used here or there.
