Me n my bf had been playing this on and off for the past like, 4 years? And we finally 100% it this past February and I miss it so much, even the screaming from when we'd lose our beads. Though it's really weird listening to the soundtrack and not hearing "BEEP BEEP"

I wish I never got rid of this game. I used to hate it because it was so easy, but now that I look back at it, it's a very charming and adorable game with appealing graphics. damn it past me ;-;

I’ve recently picked it back up for fun since quarantine and stuff is going on, “beating the game” is super easy and a fun casual time killer, but I still haven’t got 100% finished ;-;
This was the first video game I actually liked. My younger sister and I would play this game all the time. I was 8 and she was about 5. I remember we couldn’t figure out how to use the train in the third world. We kept starting over until we got it. This game made our bond stronger. I never paid attention to the music until I plugged my wii back in and started up this game. Now I listen to the soundtrack and remember a time, a simpler time, where we’d wake up excited to play together. Truly a wonderful game, that was a good thing in my childhood.
This soundtrack is so relaxing and pure, it's honestly therapeutic in this 2020 mess.

This game was a Christmas present on the year it came. Easily one the greatest and most soothing soundtrack ever to a video game. It's just as beautiful as Journey for PS3.

Even though I had played bits of GBA and DS games before Epic Yarn, this was actually not just my first Kirby game, but my first Video Game overall. And man am I nostalgic about it. But still, I think I was stuck on Hot Wings for a long time before I either just figured it out, or looked it up on youtube. Also, I remember taking pictures in this game and sending them to the Wii Message Board. It was very hard to 100% this game. Some of the collectables were actually nearly impossible to get without a 2nd player. I was also stuck on the Butter Building stage for a long time as well, until I got my father to help me out with the stage. Also, some the challenges were pretty much for one player, like the races, while other, like, REQUIRED you to have a second player or else, like the gem collecting stages. I remember getting my father for this as well. In fact, I think this is one of the hardest Kirby games ever, along with Amazing Mirror, Mass Attack, and Canvas Curse. But I had TONS of fun playing this by myself, and occasionally with family. Good times, good times...
+Keeby64 Same dude! I remember being REALLY stuck on the last time trial where you had to collect as many gems as possible. Unfortunately neither my sister OR dad were good enough to even beat the final boss so i was stuck... then i beat it last week!!!

Yeah. Completing the game is the easy part. The challenging part is definitely the mini games, and getting gold in some of the stages.
I completed it 100%, including the minigames.
I actually just recently sold my Wii (granted i got hardly anything for it) and that's one of the games i REALLY miss...

i remember i would always play this game with my little brother, back when it first came out. i pulled up the soundtrack the other day, and he told me he still remembers the songs. we sat at the kitchen table just listening and talking about the stages we liked the most (the firetruck level), the ones we liked the least (those darn swimming velociraptors made 2 player so difficult), and all of the memories we shared while playing the level. what a great game - the charm wasn't necessarily in a complex story or realistic graphics, but in variety and aesthetic. forever a favorite.
Kirby’s pad gets to me man, idk it’s so happy but solemn like damn. This soundtrack is so good though like the fact that a song that played while I was decorating could make me feel emotion is a feat unto itself

This, Smash Bros And Minecraft were my childhood. That was then, that was when I had a bunch of crappy Minecraft videos (that are privated), but now I have homework, school, friends, family, chores, everything. I’m to busy now, I’m in teenage-hood. Back then, I could play all these video games, and not have a care in the world. But now I have responsibilities, I’ll soon be the legal age of a drivers permit, and the legal age for a lot of jobs. I kinda wasted my childhood, and I’m never getting it back. If your still young, younger then 10, then do a lot with your life. Around the preteen times, you’d start to become an adult. Make the most out of your childhood and make it last as long and important as possible; you only get 1 chance at life, and you better make it awesome as early as possible.

Kirby Epic Yarn is absolutely beautiful. I played this game so much. I spent forever trying to earn that 100% completion. Never could, but I love the music. Its all so calming and amazing! It was also so cool a great!

I remember, that one night, I stayed up with my brother until 2:00 in the morning on new years 2013 (12-13). It was the longest I have ever stayed up, just playing with my best friend at the time, not worrying about tomorrow. The life in America as a young zoomer was the best, just for one day I wish I could go back.

I was so young when I played this game.
I never new what I was doing and didnt even have the mental capacity to understand what was happening on my TV. I just sat there moving around on the screen listening to the music for hours. The sound of this music gives me a overwhelming feeling of happiness and peace, it brings me back to my childhood. feeling like you were in the imaginary world of dreams and joy and yarn.
I had forgotten about this period of my life and the music brings me back.
The feeling can't be described with words.
It brings tears to my eyes.
I love how some of these songs sound like classical music. It gives off such a soft, relaxing feel.

Recently bought this game for nostalgia, a really good decision I shall say. I remember my older sister and I would spend countless hours and days playing this game after getting back from school, it was a really good experience. I remember she would always play as Kirby, while I would be Prince Fluff. She would always be the one decorating the house making sure we had a double of each item for us ^^ This game soundtrack is so good, too bad it’s kinda underrated,,

Oh, so much nostalgia for this game. I remember renting it from the local Family Video (R.I.P.) so many times that eventually my mom just broke down and bought it. I recently got Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and was ecstatic when I found out you could listen to the Epic Yarn theme from Kirby's scrapbook.

I use this and Zelda music for studying! Brings back memories of when I'd bring this game over to my friend's house and we'd play it until late. We beat it at least twice together, and had a lot of fun.
One of my favorite games ever. Actually, this IS my favorite game ever. it's so underrated?? this game holds a place in my heart. When this game came out i was in 1st grade. I was stoked. i played it every day and every night. i even made little songs with the music in it. My cousin would come over and we would play this game ALL day. i remember i was sick one morning, i wasn't feeling too well so my mom called my cousin over so we could play together. She knew how much i loved playing the game, especially with him. One day he came up with an amazing idea to dress up like Kirby and prince fluff. he wore a blue shirt, a crown and a cape and i wore a pink shirt with a red cape. We would run around the neighborhood and fight the trash that was on the ground. (we, of course, would put it in the trash lol) Gosh, no one knows how much nostalgia this game gives me. probably the most nostalgia i'll ever have in my life. ah, i miss the good ol' days. hes a junior now and i'm starting high school in a few days. we haven't seen each other in a while but i will never EVER forget the memories. Just listening to the soundtrack makes me wanna cry of happiness. Goodness me, whoever came up with the concept, music, design, in this game should be nominated. I wish i could find my Wii but sadly, when we moved out we couldn't find it anywhere. I was REALLY sad. but, i know that one day i'll be able to get enough money to buy another Wii and the game again! since the Wii was made around 2008-2009 it shouldn't be THAT expensive. i mean, look at the 3ds...I remember the price approximately being 699.99 dollars back in 2011. now it's around 100 dollars. Anyway, i give this game a 11/10. One of the best and underrated Nintendo games out there.

this is literally just my comfort and childhood game. everything about it is so nostalgic for me.
Me and my sister played this when we were younger, you know when rental places existed. We found some sound tracks now we have to buy it..
You can hear how much fun the composers had with some of these, namely Secret Island.
This game is just... pure.
My little girl got this game a while back and although I never played it well..lol I was always soothed by the sweet melodies especially while I crochet.=)
