How to make Dr. Pepper Jalapeno and Dad's Beef Jerky start to finish

I've recently been obsessed with making my own beef jerky, and have ran thru quite a few flavors. I had to try the Dr. Pepper Jalapeno recipe, and also wanted to keep making the family favorite, the Dad's Jerky marinade. I decided to document to process for both recipes.
