I was able to visit Zenith a bit more than a year ago and it really is a remarkable manufacture and one of the only one still producing 100% of the movements in-house. This was a great way to relive this awesome day, shoutout also to Paul Wirth for showing you around, I had a great time with him and Patrick Jaron that day. Cheers!
You prolly dont give a damn but does any of you know of a method to log back into an Instagram account? I was stupid forgot my login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
@Jameson Dexter I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
This is a brilliant channel. I enjoy it and the processes we get to see are wonderful. Since however, I watched George Daniels and Roger W Smith's process, I can see how their pieces are just world's apart and so very special.
This was again a fascinating road trip episode ! Even a company which uses production machinery to produce its watches can result in a product of an incredibly high level of precision and sophistication !
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting material like this. What started as a childhood horological curiosity into a mechanical and manufacture obsession in adulthood...this video is checked all the boxes for me.
9:30 That's some passion for watchmaking right there. I would be curious to know how many watch components can be stamped. I'm also fascinated by the precision machining. Look forward to the tools segment.
This channel is the only I vote 'like' before watching the video. I wonder what's the technology behind the air quality in these factories as dust is part of the process yet is highly undesirable in the watch.
6 years old video, and I never saw it, very nice video Marc Andre and very lucky guys to make a roadtrip to Chronos Meca, I have an El Primero chrono and I broke the crown stem in my country there is no AD for Zenith, im devastated since I cannot use my El Primero, I wish I can make a road trip to Le Locle and get my watch fixed and see all of this amazing Maison.
Surely these guys are mesmerised by this fabulous trip, waiting desperately for rolex and thank you all to give us a chance to have a glance at these industries.
Wonderful tour of Zenith factory, demonstrating various production phases. But, curiously, the first and most fundamental phase was not shown: that of development of a new movement. It would be nice to meet engineers who devise mechanisms and complications ! Anyway, very, very enjoyable video. Like the rest from your channel !
Thanks a lot and yes here the focus was put on the manufacturing dimension and not the development. We've covered this in some other videos, but will do a special on this in the near future. All the best to you
Superb watch. But, never? Rolexes are for everyone and as a watch nerd, I understand your point. But, I’d never turn down the chance to own a vintage 1950s date just. That’ll be my case for a Rolex. I’ll never buy one of the flashy modern types.
I think your statement doesn’t make any sense. Why can’t a watch enthousiast who likes Zenith, also like other brands like Rolex? I hope you understand that Rolex is the only reason that Zenith and other brands making mechanical watches survived the crisis. Ik like and own both Zenith and Rolex, amongst other makes.
Very impressive once again. You should know that watchmakers are also involved in manufacturing tools for the finest field of surgery like vitreoretinal surgery done by ophthalmologists.
Absolutely true, there are quite some similarities in terms of skills involved and in the La Chaux-de-Fonds region, you will indeed find many other companies working in the medical sector.
Another good, interesting video. I would be so honored to visit the people and places you present. Will you present/contact Mr Steffen Pahlow? ( UA-cam channel under same name)
Using Cosworth as an analogy for an engine maker for cars and Zenith as a movement maker for watched is incorrect. Cosworth did not manufacture engines, instead, they used Ford engines as Ébauches, which they would modify. Cosworth were eventually bought by Ford.
Je trouve que le sujet est tout à fait d'intérêt pour un amateur d'horlogerie mais le présentateur bien que connaissant et intéressant met ses intonations trop fortes sur certaines syllabes ce qui rend le reportage parfois pénible à écouter.

Well done Watch TV!!
Excellent series. Looking at different manufacturers and their production processes and philosophies is very educational. Thank you.
Very welcome!
Fine blanking technique... superb engineering and manufacturing...edm, wire cut, mill turn, polishing etc..
Wow, what a trip these guys had..now Zenith)
And it's not totally over ;)
You're really killing it guys!

Happy you enjoyed this!
FANTASTIC! Zenith is unique!
Wow! Another episode that gave me goosebumps! A Zenith El Primero is still on my list. But I'm afraid it is going to be there for quite a while... ;)
Don't lose hope Claus ! One day that El Primero will knock on your door :)
I think so too!!!!
My favourite watch brand. I have the Zenith Sporto Limited Edition for 200 pieces and the Zenith Grand Prix Paris 1900 pocket watch. I love my Zenith.
Very nice!!!
This was again a fascinating road trip episode ! Even a company which uses production machinery to produce its watches can result in a product of an incredibly high level of precision and sophistication !
Absolutely right!
I had no idea that zenith was such a integral part of the movement industry :) ‘fantastic insight’ and a great video to boot :)
Very nice to hear, thanks for your comment! Keeps us going ;)
These Episodes are just amazing. Great Work.
Thanks a lot!

Very nice hand made watches. CNC cutters, CAD design, robots, very impressive, almost as impressive as Citizen quartz movements put together by hand.
Added El Primero Defy 21 - Singapore Edition and the 96.0525.4000 El Primero Defy XTREME - both generate excitement when being shown. Great Video!
Amazing vidoes amazing trip very lucky guys
Hey guys - I like the videos that you make. Keep up the good work.
This channel is the only I vote 'like' before watching the video.
I wonder what's the technology behind the air quality in these factories as dust is part of the process yet is highly undesirable in the watch.
I love these shows.
Happy you liked it, many thanks!
Love the show dude
That's nice, thanks so much !!
The soundtracks : ) love it

That watch tattoo on the woman's right foream @ 9:30 😍🙏👌
She is wifey status for sure.

THXX to share .. AMAZING
Thanks and happy you liked it! Did you see other episodes of our Watchmaking Roadtrip adventure?
ALL OF THEM .... LOVE IT
A proud owner of the El Primero Chronomaster. Will never own a Rolex...never!
Nice watch for sure
Good taste..Zenith is better than Rolex.

I will gladly accept a Rolex. Finding a buyer the second I get it lol. I'm with you Rolex makes good noises as it hits the waste basket. 😉
how does one plan this trip? looks like a great time
With the money from the auction (the Patek) I think I would have a good time on a road trip of these Masters of Time!
Doesnt the el primero movement beat at 5hz? 36000vph?
+Joonsuk Kim yes you are right... lapsus...
Very impressive once again.

I could "watch" these company walkthroughs all day..... if it wasn't for having to work, of course.
Hahaha, happy you liked it 👍👍
So if Zenith supply movement, can I get their movement and make the casing my self? And if possible, sold them commercially?
That used to be the case many years ago, but now they focus only on the movements for their own watches.
I really need to visit Switzerland, I heard it's cheaper to visit than France.
Unfortunately, this is a bit questionable, but will be happy to help you out if you want to come!
Is that an mb&f watch on your wrist?
Yes it is, the LM1
Not 4Hz but 5Hz ;)
Yes, tongue slip unfortunately...
Another good, interesting video. I would be so honored to visit the people and places you present. Will you present/contact Mr Steffen Pahlow? ( UA-cam channel under same name)
Not for this Roadtrip, but who knows, one day!!!!
you r great. a real presenter unlike some ol fart archy !
Thanks so much and all the best to you!

You guys better go to Rolex
Would be nice for sure!!!!
TheWATCHES.tv so you guys didn't go ? Noooo
That's quite a hard one to open the doors of... but one day we hope!!!!!!!!!
Why? Zenith is much better.
5 hertz
Yes, my bad... just slipped form my mouth... :(
