I have the TB09 and love it. If I stack it into the non-tube Maxon OD9 (or the 808, etc) with the gain down but the Tube and Level up - would that be similar to the sound of the TOD9? Well, now I have to try it don't I? It already sounds rad into a Sonic Distortion and pretty much everything else.. Maxon FTW every time.
How would one deal with the feedback from the pedal? I’ve had mine for a while now and the only issue I have That drives me crazy Is the fact that when I play as soon as I turn the pedal on it starts immediately picking up static and radio stations through it playing through my amp. I’ve tried other amps to verify that it wasn’t a ground issue with my amp but it continues. it’s almost like the second I hit the pedal I need to start playing full volume otherwise Telemundo will start coming out of my amp. any suggestions?
The same thing happens to me and it is not bad, I am always informed with Telemundo and I not only find out about covid vaccines, but also about shows ... While I play, I inform myself ... It is not bad.
Christopher Taylor - We stock replacement tubes & its a 10-15 minute job to replace. Not saying it's as easy as a solid state pedal, but the additional tone is worth it....
+Christopher Taylor it runs for years military tube i have tbo9, der is better but i like small and simple, not bad, depends on amp to, i have tele and polytone
That TOD9 might be my new favorite dirt pedal! What a beast. :-)
Heh, just watched your demo from a year ago and ended up here on autoplay.
I think the Gods of Algorithm want me to buy this pedal...
Could you create a video on how someone can change the tube?

You need an rf filter capable plug like a furman. Tubes do this naturally.
Who's listened to a radio station in the past 25 years?
Hi KevinIf anything goes wrong with the tube, can in it be replaced?
Yes, the tube is replaceable. :-)
These tones are definitely alluring but i'm worried about having to replace the tubes. Just don't like the idea of an extra expense.
Christopher Taylor - These tubes run at low-voltage and also have a heater in-rush start-up current that extends tube life. Low chance of failure....
But what if one fails? How does one replace it?

difference ibanez cuts slightly lows and more mids overall very good, maxon smood more natural played years with ts9
the two lines played in the beginning are played differently. the TOD9 was partial to a heavier hand and harder chokes. Should have used sound clips.
It's like a character pedal.
