I have zero beef with Pinye but I had a problem with the BEAT TV show back then when my song was played for a month and I was asked to pay money for it to keep being on rotation. I decided not to pay and it was removed from rotation. That’s where I started having an issue with Pinye. Truth is that 90 percent of musicians in Kenya wanna say this but they are scared. DNA .. Did it. Soo much truth in the dis song unfortunately.
The best thing to do here is to listen carefully and digest what was said in the show. Instead of ranting like a fool. One more thing, watch what you say to some one especially if he is older than you. Remember you are growing old too. Watching and learning is one of the best life skillz. Peace!!

If you have a poor video quality and you don't want to be corrected, as consumers we are forced to watch videos from our Nigerian, Tanzanian and SA brothers. You can't produce mediocrity and expect us to seat back and give an applause. Let's be honest, the reason as to why videos like lamba lolo have high views is because the song is good and people love the music but the video quality is poor. Eg for Diamond's videos (and other TZ artists) to be played in stations like MTV and BET he had to send his videos to them for scrutiny so as to meet their standards. After taking into account MTV's advises positively, look at their videos today (and industry at large). So don't blame Pinye for setting a standard in his show. At the end of the day as an artist you either take it positively or negatively.
Good video quality requires resources. These new artist don't have that kind of resources and experience. We need to support them in their growth by supporting their music. Diamond is where he is because he had people supporting his bad quality videos when he started out. He grew and could now get his music to Mtv and BET. If we start demanding such quality of BET and Mtv from upcoming artist who dont have the resources or experience, are we not going to be a stumbling block to their growth and end up missing out on great artists who needed bit of support to produce the international quality we want? It's only in the Kenyan industry that we want instant success and forget that other music industry grew by grooming on their willing artists.
