Regional Anesthesia for Chest Wall Surgeries

Join Dr. Soliman, M.D. for a discussion on regional anesthesia's role in providing analgesia post- chest wall surgeries, including cardiac, thoracic, and breast surgeries. Dr. Soliman will review relevant anatomy and sono-anatomy of fascial chest wall blocks and discuss the advantages, risk factors, and appropriate indications of the different blocks of the chest wall. Accompanying Dr. Soliman will be Dr. Oweidat, M.D. who will be moderating the Q&A at the end of the presentation.
Dr. Soliman is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, and a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Ohio Society of Anesthesiology, American Medical Association, and Society for Pediatric Anesthesia and the Congenital Cardiac Anesthesia Society. Dr. Soliman is the director of the acute pain and regional anesthesia fellowship at Cleveland Clinic as well as the director of the acute pain management service.
