hi alfred love your show i have a f300 brig rib boat ..it is self draining by the transome ,but there is a plug in the floor i presume to drain the hull .i was told not to remove it but if it starts sploshing around or for any reason how do you drain it ,all i can think of is a suction hose ..any thoughts ? great info on your site ,for novices ,thank you
Peter the drain plug inside the boat can be removed to drain the boat. If I'm not mistaken that boat has a drain plug and then there's another scupper hole with a flap out in the back. That flap prevents water from coming inside the boat. My suggestion is to quickly remove the plug inside the boat and then plane the boat out so the water can get out and then put the plug back in
@@AlfredMontaner thank you alfred ..so the plug in the floor about 14 inches from the transom held in by 2 screws ,i can remove to get any water out of the hull if need be ?i was told by the seller do not remove it ,,but if you hear water sploshing in the hull syphen it out ? sorry to keep asking the same thing over again alfred love your show ,i have learnt alot from you ,,at 91 its my first ever new to me rib bless you
