CD players will never die, not even next year.
Love CDs
lover voice.
this aged well
I dont miss vinyl and the hassle it presents in cleaning, setting up, and maintenance.
Cleaning is easy if you don't play music to death, also, with vinyl you are more "forced" to concern on the music since it is pretty slower to set up n' everything... Then also, sound quality... But CD is cheap and good sounding
Ba ha ha. Been into vinyl since 69. I own both formats. Almost 1k LP’s and slightly less Cd’s. Don’t fool yourself digital compression sucks! I still find myself favoring LPs by quite a large margin. If your a serious listener with a nice rig nothing tops the analog experience.
@@LA-zc9rg Totally agree
I got excited about the Bose one and then I checked the price. never mind
Technics from the 90's are the Best CD's Player, i have the SL-PG470A. He is a Masterpiece of Hi-Fi Made
Maybe one time after Philips and Pioneer .
Any one who calls Teac teak, doesn’t know hi fi ! It is pronounced T Ack
Agree
Nice
In addition, IMHO BOSE is mid-fi at best
I bought quite an expensive NAD CD-player because I like to own albums physically and buy one every now and then. I didn't expect to get mindblown by the sound quality. You hear the drums so much clearer and the room reverb is also excellent. Also the panning - where every instrument/voice is, is much clearer. I have some albums from HDtracks in 24bit, 192khz that also sound this good, but damn, I didn't expect CDs to sound nearly as good as this.
i guess Im asking the wrong place but does someone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account?
I was dumb forgot my login password. I would love any help you can offer me!
@Makai Grady Instablaster =)
NAD isn't all that expensive.
I love my CD's!
You should marry them
@@anonymousmc7727 Haha nice :-)
So glad I owned Marantz CD6006! Considered as the high-end choice here!
Try the Naim CD5si, Cyrus and Roksan.
Nothing beats the old music delivery formats in stereo. Don't want no toyish sounding equipment, and that means no cloud music.
Correct but Blu ray audio , SACD and DVD audio are usually superior
Marantz CD 6006 достойный аппарат за свои деньги и на удивление вполне музыкальный. 😀 👍
Just acquired the Denon DCD A-110. Amazing player for CD and SCAD. Resolution like you've never heard --- even CDs I recorded on a Tascam RW900MKII revealed details I didn't hear when recording.
Surprised the Onkyo C-7030 isn't mentioned here......unless they've stopped making that model......
@Anthony Martino I have one as well, pretty pleased with it.......
I use a Panasonic DVD player. It's also a great cd player. Good enough for me.😁
How can one even consider any piece of hi-fi equipment being the best if it doesn't at least have balanced outputs?
why Audiolab 8200cd is not in the list.
best is very relative ...
WTF is Teak??? It's Teac as in tee-ak
That's how I thought it was pronounced......
That threw me off as well!
"Kids these days!"
It's made out of wood!
I have a Bryston. Good enough for me. This list is crap. ! 🥰
I own the yamaha cd-s2100 and see no reason to swap it out for any of these units. the fact that it is not included here seems a little off! a little marantz bias perhaps?
Do you love it? I’m trying to pick one to buy
A none audiophile list of humdrum cd players most of which (except for the Marantz) are good editions to a sub £500 system. Whoever compiled this wouldn't know hi end audio if it hit them in the face.
Snob
@@derradune6722 Well.... if you say BEST it's got to be the best And these are not even close to be best mid-price.
Is BOSE really being considered here? Why??
BOSE? That's where I stopped
.
I need a CD Player with Digital Optical Out.
Denon rcd n11-the Best!
Teac or Teak or Tee-ak what's the point dudes
all linguists / experts have been gatherred here as usual hahaha
Happy New Year to all even to them :-)
Bose and Onkyo? Wow
Had to stop watching
@@scottyo64 you should listen to the gear before you judge about it. The onkyos price/performance ratio is great. For an entry level hifi setup definitely to recommend. Have no experience with bose though, so can't give a comment here.
No Rotel...pfffffffffff
what about dcs, msb, mbl?
Is MSB money saving brand? I think I've heard of them. Good stuff for the money.
Can we play vcd also in the above models
does Onkyo have wifi?
I like linn ikemi is the best value for change.
Linn is a very old model. There are no replacement parts if it is spoilt.
Very Good!!! TRUMP 2020!!!
BIDEN WON GET OVER IT RACIST
Bro what?
I really can't take anyone seriously who pronounces teac as teak!
wow you really are a very delicate little millennial flower cupcake aren't you..
yes cd 2021
Bose best CD player? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hate Bose --anything.
One time maybe Bose was a good manufacturer of loudspeakers. Now only for. Headphones.
Bose Wave?
I'm glad you said that???
Completely lost all credibility when I saw the bose logo pop up 🤦♂️
Best sl p 990 Technics
Best CD player of 2020: FLAC
So which one is the best?
DCS Vivaldi (separate Transport, Upsampler, DAC and Clock) sounds pretty good. So does the MSB Reference. Not wallet friendly unfortunately.
It's pronounced Tee Ack
Teak Toc?
Teac is good. But a Mahogany or Spruce really kicks out the jams!
They are the Best CD Player Products
Всё, время ушло когда делали лучшие проигрыватели.
Pioneer PD S 604 the best!!!!😁😁😁😁😁
5:36 ehhh... MIŁOŚĆ
Bose do have amazing designs but crappy sound at ultra high prices, for those who care less about sound quality
Very Nice I like it .
Teak 🤔
Like a promotions 😜

Useless. There is such a wide variety of product that offer so much more value for the money. This list is so myopic that it borders the asinine.
What products do you recommend. Looking for my home studio since I get cd's all the time
These CD players are good
Onkyo is no longer being made.
Мне по душе аппараты 80-90х... Новоделы не для меня. И по дизайну, и по цене
Soglasen.. no seichas apparati na mnogo lychshe .. gizn ne stoit..
best cd player? it becomes meaningless. A CD player is the CD mechanism and a DAC. with a good DAC you can transform many CD players into good-sounding players.
The cd mechanism in today's cd players is almost always the cheapest kind of junk
why do no cd players have spdif input?
o chinezarie ...
Best by what and whose definition, rubbish
Japan sound- dead!!!
Why are these things so big though?
Really!?
Fake reviews.
'Best CD Players'. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
I don't think so.
I'm assuming these are all somewhat pricier models? Can everyday folks even find half-decent cd players? They all now seem to have the STUPID AS F*** CD ROM transports that are slow to respond and add a tiny gap between tracks so that live recordings lose their flow. What idiot designers and manufacturers think this is alright? They sure don't deserve my money.
Ahh..., enough rant for now.
I had a beautiful Danish CD player. No gapless... Swaped for the Teac 650.. £150... Excelent CD player 🏴🐙
Cd was ? es lebe Vinyls ! Oder doch streaming🙃🙃🙃🙃
El CD es de alta calidad. El vinilo y el tocadiscos son de BAJA CALIDAD ": una moda ridícula a la par con los tatuajes
What's a CD? Now seriously, plastic media in 2020? I can understand vinyl, because its nostalgic and unique as the last surviving analog format, but why CD? I've sold my 3000+ CD collection back in 2010, moved to lossless file streaming, and online music services and never looked back!
Yup. Go with FLAC and don't look back.
I prefer to have both.
Services not available in my region. Also like physical media especially at times when internet is out
Who even listens to Cd's anymore? 🤣 😎 😁.. Might as well still watch movies on Laser Disc. 🤣
EVERYBODY listens to CD'S.
You live under a rock?
CD is out, Vinyl is in.
Not with a good DAC the CD play still rules the roost.
@@earjwee What is the added value of vinyl when the source(recording) is digital?
I❤️CD's Forever!!!!!
Now i have 460, all Hard Rock and Heavy Metal Studio Album s from the 80's and 90's
@@matmetal8247 and 00
@@francoisathome5979 Exactly. Which brings us to the heart of the problem: those who say that the AD - DA conversion makes music dry and unemotional forget that when they listen to a vinil record the AD conversion happens exactly where it happens for a CD or file. The DA happens before the RIAA curve (yes) and the actual LP production. Then a pickup reads the music, a varying electrical signal is generated, a reverse RIAA curve is applied, and at this point the signal is ready to be amplified.
If you listen to a CD, after the first AD conversion you have a bit perfect copy of what was produced, and your DAC recreates the analog signal for you amplifier. Much simpler, and also great quality, with just one problem: you need a great DAC to obtain a good DA conversion. And those are not cheap.
CDs are dead!!!
where did you get that information?
No they're not. Vinyl demands too much work and expense - and - not everyone streams.
Why does it cost 25 - 30 f-ing dollars for a vinyl release? Crazy.
@@jimgardner5129 I pay $50 and $75 and even for $125 for audiophile releases on vinyl that many destroy the album version on CD, I not follow formats, I follow the best quality of my favorite albums, some are on vinyl, some on cd.
Then why are they still selling in the millions as of today. Cds will never go away especially since there are billions of cds out there. They still outsell vinyl records by millions. You know nothing.
No
The bose one is 1,300 bucks 😩
