Hey Clift I’m all the way up here in Michigan but appreciate the content and you bringing us along! have you ever washed an awning? Fabrics or plastic awning.
Thanks for the info. Im still figuring out how to bid jobs. Im in central Maryland so not sure how that plays a part. Did job the other day that was similar to that and charged 125. I kinda go by the hour and it works but I wanna make sure I'm not losing or robbing. Anyway, seen a video with a dude that used a gear tie to hold the surface cleaner trigger. I did it and it was a big difference on the arms and hands. Thanks for the content and knowledge bro greatly appreciated!
You have the right formula. On a job like this it's best to charge a flat hourly rate. My base hourly rate is $150 but since this customer was about 40 mins out with traffic I charged $175. And got a 5 star review and a tip! The zip tie works, some guys use a tennis ball also.
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash I thought about doing that but was unsure if that would increase the pressure just like when rinsing with a throttled ball valve.
Not sure if you simply don't record it, but I don't think I've seen you hit the curbs when washing. Is that intentional? Is that a different type of task or something?
I just don't record that part it sucks cause usually splashes all over my legs lol but yea I clean them. On this particular job it wasn't a full cleaning it was just a sidewalk cleaning so curbs wasn't included in the price.
I know you lowered your pressure for the newer surface, about what psi would you recommend running for a newer surface like that?
Roughly 1200-1500psi
Lol 😂 you’re right It always rains in Florida after four or five pm. Great work. Thank you for sharing your knowledge keep up the great work
Lol the struggle!! I'll take it over snow ❄️ ❄️!
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash yes sir I hear you
& when you say “I’m going to downstream this one”. What % you usually use? Thanks for info 👍
Depends in what injector you have. There's the General Pump injectors which pulls 1-2% and super suds sucker injectors that pulls up to 3%

Hey brother. Yes I have. Sh and light surfactant and a soft brush will get those cleaned. A 3-5% mix does the trick for Me
Awesome thanks ! Have a safe holiday!
More fine work Bro. Hope you have fine 4th.with your family and friends. No drink’n and drive’n ether. I’am loading now for Fargo ND for Tues.
Yea sir I'm staying low key. Thanks for the advice brother. Be safe

Thanks a lot. I try to do that time to time.
What PSI were you running?
Lowwwwww under 1900
Roughly what psi you want to use on new concrete? (2years old). You think around 1500 psi is ok? Or 1k instead?
Yea 2 years old it will be ok with either
Great job. Stay safe.
Thank you brother.

Would be nice to know what psi you did for the new concrete
I dont remember from this old video. Sorry
Great video. Keep it up dude.
Great work..what size is your surface cleaner 20 or 24”
20 inch
Did you change the tips on your surface cleaner to lower the pressure for that specific job?
I didn't but that is the correct way to go about it. I had choked my ball valve on this one

@@ayedubbjr thank you brother. Dropping another one tomorrow, be on the look out.
Explain a hot mix?
5%
You used soft wash?
On the first job i used the softwash system to apply the mix, the 2nd job i downstreamed the mix.
☝🏽💯👍🏽 keep applying that pressure my guy ‼️
Say no more 🙏🏽💪🏽
Yessir keep the hustle up
Yessuh 👍💪🏼
So I pre wet everything and I soak everything. Im so worried of killing grass. But you seem to spray stong mixes without an issue.
I have the same issue but he applied a 4% mix wow
Awesome work 👍 thanks for sharing
